I'll be live-blogging commentary about the Sony conference on VGT's home page when it starts in an hour. There are numerous video feeds on the web and it's being carried on G4 for those near a TV.
I'm just glad Sony is going last so I can get the stink of the Nintendo conference off of me. The PSP already has the update for the movies and TV so I'm sure that will be announced.
I'm hoping Sony has some stuff to download after the conference, but we will probably have to wait for Thursday. |
Think we'll get God of War 3 first or last?
My question is will Sony be announcing any good games for the PSP in this conference?
And we're off.
Think a price cut is coming this fall/Christmas?
Jack Tretton just called out Jack Palance (yes, that guy) for being dead.
Nice start with Resistance 2. The Jack Palance thing was weird though.
 Great use of Little Big Planet.
Two posts in 20 minutes? Ouch... is it going that bad?
Nah, just nothing of substance. Some Resistance 2 stuff. LBP level used to showcase the charts and graphs (kotaku said it was coming October, but I must've missed that announcement).
PS3 greatest hits. PS2 showcase and talk now. |
New PS2 - Lego Batman & JL: New Frontiers bundle for $149 :)

Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty on PSN
Features "Light & Dark gameplay" for all you lovers of the mechanic out there  $14.99 this summer. Beginning of episodic releases? |
lol
180 million content downloads since launch. - and half of then are still going. |
We're not interested in filling up our stores with titles no one wants to play just so we can say we have the most, Tretton says.
 Supposed to be a stab at the 360 but sounds just like the PS2 plan. |

Pretty underwhelming on-demand video service demo. New service is available tonight. Moving on to the PSP...
I didn't catch it if they mentioned it - live streaming was studdering. Did they say how the rental model works?
