uh oh .. I got my monoprice package yesterday, and while the HDMI>DVI cable is just fine - I found that neither my TV nor my home theater receiver has a digital audio input .. so, should I use the regular audio output (that is currently in my TV) and run it into the home theater to at least get slightly better sound?

I would run the audio cables from the PS3 to the receiver. If you need sound from the TV speakers sometimes, see if the receiver has audio outputs.

Yeah, make SURE that it doesn't have an optical input. If it's less than 10 years old, I bet it does. A lot of time there's a small I-shaped plug in the Optical In plug that should be removed before you insert your cable. I'd check your receiver's manual...

Firmware 2.41 is expected midweek (next day or two).
I just hope the 2.41 firmware installation doesn't cause problems for those of us successfully running 2.40 for a week.

So is 2.40 available on the website? Also, what does 2.40 address?

Also, for RocShemp
The new update basically adds In-game XMB (so you can quickly switch to another game, check something on the internet, message a friend, all without having to first quit out of your game.) And it also adds Trophy support (like 360 achievements.)
It's up in the air as to which is the biggest or most desired of the updates. My thought is the ingame xmb.

Are the PS3 80GB Metal Gear Bundles gonna be around for awhile? I'm planning to get a PS3 in a few months but if they're gonna stop making the bundles i'll just get one now.

I've heard that they'll keep making the 80gig/MGS bundles untill the end of the summer - stocks are still pretty low, but as more will be made available, I think you'll be able to find them at store well into the Fall.

Can anyone tell me how to view episode two of Qore. I have subscribed to a full year and I didn't know if had to download the next episode or update it internally through episode one. All I could find in the PSN store was a link to rebuy the episodes, which I do not need to do. Please let me know.
