For those that have the 360 version already, are user tracks on the hd integrated in the car radio really well?

I'm thinking about tossing the music of Double Clef FM from GTA3 on the hd before tomorrow.

False. Gamespot grades on a .5 scale.

The Kotaku FAQ said that they aren't integrated at all. You have to play from the dash over whatever is playing.

Well, it looks like I'll be getting this tomorrow. Regular retail stores (Best Buy) will have this tomorrow, right?

All the ads note that this will be in stock tomorrow. However, there was a big debate in the last thread about how hard this will be to find.

My opinion: it probably depends where you live. For example, I was in my Best Buy a couple days ago, and they still had plenty of pre-order boxes. Which is a pretty good indicator that they'll have enough copies to go around tomorrow.

The Best Buy near me always has plenty of whatever the big title is. GTA: San Andreas, tons. Halo 2 and 3, a bunch. Guitar Hero III and Rock Band, numerous copies.

Safe to assume Best Buy will have them available at store opening time tomorrow?

Awesome, Gamefly already shipped me my rental. I then used a bunch of coupons I had from the rewards thing, plus "oops we fucked up" coupons, and a survey one. My total cost was $23.95. I can't wait to play this game.

I just got my email from BB saying they will have my pre-order ready at store opening, but will not give it to me today.

What surprises me is how many want to MP right away. I kinda want to go thru on single player to get re-acquainted with the controller and map so I don't grenade people by accident or crouch when I wanted to sprint like on Halo 3. Either way.. I'm down for doing both.

I've been thinking about getting this game, mainly for multi-player. I heard an interview with Lazlo on O&A a last week and he said the game was 100 hours. I just don't have that kind of time for one game. But I'd love to do some deathmatch with friends.

I with Devilshalo - I'm going to enjoy the single player mode for a while before diving into the multiplayer action. This is my first GTA game since GTA:London - so I want to experience it first.

I'll be going through Singleplayer for a few hours for sure, but I didn't set up DVD Talk GTA for nothing, so I'll be hopping online later Tuesday evening.

You know, I wondered if I had done something like this. After reading your post, I cleared both my cookies and temp internet files. Then I restarted, and I still get the same error on the Social Club. That damn site should be more forgiving for a simple mistake! Oh well... Thanks for your help regardless.

I have the last three GTA games for the XBox, but never finished them. Here is my question. Is it possible to do the story missions only, beat the game, then go back and do the side quests? Like Assassins Creed does for example.

Is there a section in the Rockstar Social club to tie your gamertag to the account? Did I completely miss it?

Did anyone else order from Best Buy online? They shipped it the other day, but I can't get tracking information on it. The notification message says it was via USPS (US Postal Service), but the link they gave me takes you to UPS instead. I tried entering the tracking number at the USPS site and I don't get any info there either.

I'm guessing there is something in the game that links it up, kind of how GH3 linked to GH.com

It's nowhere near 100 hours. I'm on the last story mission at 20 hours, and I did quite a few side quests. I'd say it's on par with Saint's Row at about 40 hours of fun and screwing around to 100% it.
