I've beaten every dungeon except Fay's Final Puzzle. Over 100 hours. Sequel = Danger.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who had trouble removing Picross from my DS. If I hadn't borrowed New Super Mario Bros. from a friend, I would probably STILL be playing Picross.

Oh, I'm 34 years old, and I love me some Mario Brothers.

I was at Wal*Mart last night and on their "clearance" aisle the had their bundled "DS Starter Packs" for $7.50 (marked down from $19.99). The packs consist of a DS sleeve, three styli, and a game.

On a whim I got the Elite Beat Agents bundle (the other choice was True Swing Golf DS).

I guess all-in-all, that's not too bad.

This was the Super Wal*Mart at 281 & 1604.

Did they ever clearance the Classic Controller gloves with Wii Points card?

According to some CAGs yes. It was highly YMMV though. I never saw them on clearance at my WM.

Finally found Picross locally, and only $14.99 to boot . We are in the process of moving, and I mistakenly took it over in a box with stuff to the new place. So that means I can't play it tonight before bed . Ah well, more CrossworDS never hurt anyone.

Elite Beat Agents for $7.50 seems like a good deal.

I'm going to stop by Wal*Mart today and see if there are any left (I doubt it, but I'll try). If they have some, I'll get some and post it here.

Then if you'd like one, we can make a deal.

So check back to see if I'm successful!

Isn't that DQ V case just the standard "clear plastic" case that is already being sold with multiple "covers" (I know there are generic, nfl, and transformers ones out)? In which case, we can probably just print out the cover and stick it in the case, right?

Speaking of which, anyone know of a site that has such covers?

not obvious if you've never played a Tecmo Bowl game before.

I have however, and am really looking forward to getting it. Thanks for posting those.

Pixy always posts screenshots without telling us what the heck they're from, or where he got them...

I'm really glad they took the extra year off, because after some time away from Castlevania I am really ready for the new one on DS.

How well did the US release of Shiren do? I saw that even Target was carrying the game, so hopefully it did somewhat decently.

All I know is that, after a hiatus, it's back to kicking my butt.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it probably met or exceeded Sega's expectations, which were probably low to begin with. The game was probably pretty cheap to localize and publish so it was likely profit from the ground up. The game got (very surprisingly) great reviews and it's gotten good word of mouth as I've seen 20-50 page threads on it in bigger gaming forums. I've got a good feeling the new DS game will come out here, though I think the Wii sequel is still a question mark.

But keep in mind they had to pay that guy to ruin the cover artwork...
