I really like the MK lineup.. they went with all classic fighters. Disappointed that my favorite character, Kung Lao, isn't in it..

There will be a few hidden characters and downloadable characters also. I have no idea why they have Luthor in the game.

I would have much rather seen a darker villain like Scarecrow or something.

I like seeing Baraka make the cut.

I was hoping for Bane but it would have been neat to see what moves/finishers they would do with Scarecrow.

Luthor could be great, and have some cool projectiles, if he is in the green power suit. Hyped about Darkseid!

Yeah, not to mention Luthor is one of the most popular/recognizable DC characters there is. I'm betting he's in the power suit which should be cool.

Yea he could be great, but I can think of over a dozen DC characters that I'd rather have in the game.

Well, I liked the 3D games for PS2. So...I guess I'm not qualified to answer.

Because DC has an agreement with Marvel not to use Captain Marvel's real name explicitly, either in the title of his comic or otherwise. It always has to be Shazam.

I'm also getting the sinking suspicion that Superman and Darkseid are going to be massively de-powered.

The developer has commented that the story will contain elements that explain why Supes can be beat up by Scorpion. My guess it will revolve around must of the MK characters being magical in nature.

I don't think the list covers unlockable characters, so I bet Johny Cage and Aquaman are prime possibilities.

I believe it was Boon that said they weren't really big on Aqua-Man. He would be cool if he had the bladed arm though.

I see at least four hidden characters. Johnny Cage, Reptile, Martian Manhunter and one more DC.
