I agree that CM gets ignored.

I do think that Hawkman would be a great addition to a fighting game because he's a brawler. You could do all kinds of cool moves where he produces melee weapons and they could also put in some some really awesome air attacks.

Yeah, that would be awesome, and a great way for dorks like me to feel like I'm getting more characters than I am.

To bad they can't have certain moves to summon heavy strikes from other non-playable heroes. Didn't some of the Capcom games have this? You know what I'm talking about?

In the one trailer, they hinted that you'll have more than the 2 characters on the screen in the last fights.

I read that when the characters are free falling they will have character specific moves. Which is really cool because while the free falling is cool the same flip the guy over and punch him will get old quick.

The first Marvel vs Capcom game had assist attacks from unplayable characters such as Thor, King Arthur, etc. Many of the assist characters became playable in the sequel.

Yeah, assists would be cool. But in a way, that was like a major tease since I wanted to play as Thor in the worst way. I just hope this game does well enough (and is good enough) to warrant a DC only game, with more characters. I liked MK at one time, but I really couldn't care less about most all of those characters.

Yeah I have never liked the Mortal Kombat series and although I'm behind this new game, I still think a DC V Capcom would've been a better choice. There would be no bitching about graphic fatalities being left out and Capcom fighting games seem to be more creative in their design of fighting games on many levels.

On the flip side, Capcom was getting out of hand with the flashing colors combo stuff. Mk's style fits DC more IMO.

I'd love to see another Capcom vs. Marvel game but I'm glad it's different for D.C.

It makes me think we have MK vs. DC, Marvel vs. Capcom, is a full on Soul Calibur vs. Star Wars not too far behind?

Its on my list to buy, another good mk game in the series. The older series is still the best IMO.

I love the Capcom games, but I am kind of glad that this DC game is different. While fun, those games weren't very deep. Just looking at the videos, it seems like this game is going to have more going for it in that regard.

And when this game comes out, you're my fellow DC loving brother and all, but Robo...you're ass is gonna get served son!

It's no secret that SF4's producer wants to make MvC 3. He has states so in interviews recently.

It's also known that Marvel was less than thrilled with EA producing their fighting game. If DC gets a good thing going with Midway then I have I think you are going to see Marvel v.s Capcom 3, or Marvel plan a fighting game with Midway in the future.

It would be cool as hell if either Capcom or Midway made D.C. v.s. Marvel eventually.

I'd love a MvC3. I just hooked my Dreamcast back up to play MvC2 again. Wonder how long EA has those Marvel rights wrapped up...

Response to the video:

No Mini Games
No Animalities
No Friendships

Awesome.

Seems like they're focusing all their efforts on the actual gameplay. The Flash looks so incredible badass.

Were any other characters announced recently?

Not since Liu Kang and Capt. Marvel.

I think they plan to name three more at Comic Con.

Anyone else really pleased to see that this game is going to be stuck on a (mainly) 2d plane? Everything can't handle full 8 way run as well as Soul Caliber does.
