Answer a few posts above your question.

I saw that, but it didn't specifically mention GD:RB, so I wasn't sure if it was the same deal. It's actually what reminded me to ask this question.

Thanks for the clarification/answer.

Regarding the video game credit - do they send you an email notification or does it just show up in your account somewhere?

They send an email confirming its deposit in your account.

These Amazon preorder deals are great! Just sold my ModNation Racers pre-order bonus (Ratchet and Clank costume/kart) for $27 since I don't usually care about the extras. Add in the $10 video game credit, and the game only cost me ~$20.

Still don't understand why people buy that stuff on ebay, when they could just preorder the game on Amazon and save quite a bit of money and still get the DLC.

So Amazon is pretty much giving away Glory of Heracles for DS right now. It's $10.99 and comes with a $10 credit. I picked that up with Tomb Raider Underworld (360) for $9.99.

MadWorld for the Wii is running $7.02.

That's about $7 too expensive.

Quick question.. if I use a $20 Amazon credit to get a game that is less than $20, does the rest of the credit carry over?

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

Yes, it's just a a pool of funds.

via Cheapy D himself:

Buy Borderlands and get the Zombie Island/Moxxi DLC expansion disc free.

$36.99 for 360
$27.99 for PC

I know the game has been out for awhile but for anyone still sitting on the fence with this game...this is one heck of a deal and well worth it.

Looks like my type of game, but I rarely play online. Is it worth it for single player only?

It's still fun with single player, but playing with other people really makes it a better experience. On the plus side, two people can play locally via split-screen. I don't play online too much either, but I'd guess 90% of my time playing was with other people, either online or via split-screen.

Does anyone know if the 360 expansion installs the dlc to the hdd an infinite number of times or if it's just two pre-paid codes?

Thanks! Does it offer system link play?

If so to this and my question above, this might put me over the edge to buying it.

As Max said...it's still fun in single player but coop is a bit better with a quicker pace, more loot, more enemies nd more chances. The whole world of Borderlands is a good size and with plenty to do. It's almost a open Sandbox style but somethings have to been done in order to unlock others. The sheer amount of weapons and mod combinations is mind boggling and with four different characters to play with... endless.

As to the add-on DLC disc it installs to your hard drive as you need to game disc to play.

But that disc could thing be used on your second xbox? No codes involved?

I played the game 100% single player and it's one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

I think I'm sold. Thanks for the input. Looks right up my alley, FPS with RPG elements sounds like heaven. Wireless sucks here at work, waiting to get home to watch the videos.

Yep. Last winter, some buddies and I had a couple drinking & Borderlands nights, where they brought over their systems and some monitors and we hooked it up for 4-player system link. It's a lot of fun to play that way.

Awesome, I've been one of the holdouts so I finally pulled the trigger. Got 5 bucks in MP3 credits too!

Thanks for posting the deal. I go to Amazon's product page and can't find it anywhere, even in the "Frequently Bought Together" pairing with the add-on disc. You'd think they'd want to put this front and center.

EDIT: I finally found it, in the "product promotions" area where they also list the MP3 credit.

Thanks, but you completely whiffed on answering the question asked.
