Add two 1600 MS Points cards to you cart and you'll get $10 off at checkout.

Hell. Yes.

If I didn't already have Bioshock, I'd be all over this!

Alternatively, you could pick up the Orange Box for $20. I actually think Half-Life 2/Portal is a better game than Bioshock, which was IMO a bit (just a bit) overrated.

Prototype starts out great, but it gets extremely frustrating. You cannot screw around later in the game because those damn apache helicopters kill you quick even if you just punch a pedestrian out of sight. I put around 10 hours into it before shelving i

Having played HL2 after Bioshock I'd have to disagree. HL2 is a great game(granted I haven't played Ep. 1 or 2), but Bioshock is an amazing experience. I'd don't know if I'd say HL2 is overrated, but it's definitely showing it's age. Based on the core games I'd say Bioshock over HL2 in a heartbeat.

Portal on the other hand was amazing start to finish, even if that start to finish was only 3 hours long.

You do get more for your money on the Orange Box though, that's for sure.

I like both HL2 and BioShock. I have to say, HL2 is probably the better made of the two, but BioShock was the better overall experience.

Portal, yeah, that was a blast.

From SD:

Amazon offers two Xbox 360 Live 1600 Point Cards for $39 - $10 in cart = $29 with free shipping.

EDIT: DEAD

It worked for me last night, but the discount didn't show up until I went to checkout.

Looks like it's dead on SD.

Yep, it's dead now. Sorry guys.

Also, has anyone ordered any games or movies from Amazon's warehouse deals? They have some decent prices but I'm wondering what condition these things are usually in.

I have ordered a ton of Xbox original games from Amazon's warehouse deal service. All of them were listed as like New and were exactly in that condition when I received them. Absolutely no complaints, they have all original materials and heck some of them even have the original sticky label. Honestly, the only reason I hesitate to recommend them because I want to keep the deals to myself :D. Excellent service.

All I can say to this is...play Episodes 1 & 2!!!! They get progressively more impressive. It's subjective, of course, but I thought HL2 + ep1 + ep2 were indeed better than Bioshock.

But I wasn't looking to start a debate...just pointing to a cheap FPS option in the "deals" thread. :)

what exactly is the deal with Amazon warehouse deals?

i clicked on what was supposed to be an XBOX 360 game for $6.99, but when i clicked it, it showed the game, but it was for Playstation 2. it is a more recent game, so didn't even know they made it for that system as i thought it was defunct.

then under platform info:
Game Information:

Platform: Nintendo 64
Media: CD-ROM
Item Quantity: 1

and there is no way this game was made for N64.

so i don't know what to think...

You see a few of those every so often, but honestly I think it's somebody who was asleep at the wheel when they posted it in Amazon's system. Most of the time they are labeled correctly. I'm tempted to try one of the N64 games that are really Xbox 360 games...maybe it's the long waited attempt at Microsoft making a cartridge based game ;)

I've had my Amazon PRIME trial for the past 3 months and today is my last day. Most of my purchases have been from the Warehouse Deals Inc., arm of Amazon.

15+ Xbox360 games all listed as Used - Like New over the past 3 weeks. :) Most under $15 for older titles.

All have come in excellent condition. I'm quite pleased. Most of the cases do not have the Microsoft security seal along the edge and the existing UPC barcode is usually covered up by an Amazon UPC sticker. They all still look factory sealed and the discs seem NEW and unplayed.

Manuals and all inserts included.

I would assume it is whatever the picture is. I've stayed away from those and stuck to the ones that are properly labeled until I would hope somebody fixes those. But I have thought about giving one of them a shot just to see.

How are people getting prime longer then the trial without paying for it? I did the trial and when it expired, in my cart it said I could get prime again and provided a link for the trial. It then said I had already had a trial and had to purchase if I wanted prime.

Not Amazon -

Walmart.com has BioShock 1 + 2 for the PS3 or 360 for $39.

Links to direct item don't work so www.walmart.com search for BioShock.

I had no Prime for 2 years, then they offered me 1 month, then there was a thing where if you added certain books to your cart you were offered a 3 month membership, so in all I got 4 months for free this year.

Looks like I'm back into gaming a bit, or at least into buying games. Love single player FPS games with a story, and can't resist great deals.
