I've probably started this demo three or four times now, playing both as a clone and as Anakin/Obi-Wan (whichever one it is, as if it even matters), and have yet to get through it once. In the words of Master Yoda, dull as hell, this game is.

Was this any good? I've heard some mixed reviews but what I saw looked interesting.

Yes, it's a terrific game...probably a 8 or 9/10 IMO.

If nothing else, download the demo and give it a run. IIRC, it's a pretty decent demo in terms of giving you an idea what the game is all about.

InFamous was a great game, IMO. I really enjoyed it and planned a second (bad) playthrough, but never got around to that.

I considered it one of the best super hero games I had played until Batman AA came out two months later.

Thanks just ordered it. Got it for 16.99 with the $10 off from preordering Bioshock II.

Yeah, inFamous is a great game. I feel really bad because I haven't given it enough time though.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

I played it through on both good and evil, and I'm not sure there's enough variation to make it worth both trips...so if you finished it, you're good.

Where are these "mixed reviews"? I thought it got consistently high marks (high 8s/low 9s).

I need to go back and finish the bad playthrough to get the platinum.

It's also $9.99 with free shipping on New Egg. Just as a point of reference.

$10 is probably about right for that game, if you like that sort of thing. It's a fun little action game with a cool aesthetic.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

I hardly ever play PC games anymore... except Civ 4... and I'm considering this Mass Effect deal, but is ME2 worth the effort? Anyone here playing the PC version?

Define "effort". ME2 is an amazing game, especially if you've played ME1. I think they compliment each other well.

Well, I watched someone play ME1 for awhile and I thought, "Self, you'd probably really like to play that game." But I never did and then it was old and I was like, "Self, it's kind of old by now and you don't really want to play a PC game anyway because, well, you've got some more complaining to do about not having Tuesday DLC for Rock Band."

So I didn't.

But now I'm so over Tuesday DLC and I'm on to complaining about no RBN, which apparently is only a part-time gig, so I'm again considering playing a PC game (because I also have a shiny new HP desktop at work that will soon be coming home with me to work en casa.)

You know, I can think of a solution to all these problems at once.

This is pretty scary stuff.

Did they send you home to work "en casa" for the same reasons as they did Jack in Fight Club???

Thanks! At my play rate, ME2 should be good and cheap when I finish.
