I missed the earlier COD4 deal so I'm in on this one.

Would it be pointless to get the Frontlines as well (appears to be a similar but presumably inferior FPS)?

You didn't buy it because it was $5 more than what you wanted?

Correct. I think at most it's worth about $35 right now, and $40 is greater than that. I do expect to see this take a good price hit in the near future as it works its way off shelves.

$5 is "only" $5. But $40 is 14.3% more than $35. I thought $30 would have been around the right price. I know it was "only" $10 more than that, but we each place different values on that next dollar for a product.

Plus I wouldn't get a lot of use out of Scene It because I would completely own everyone in my immediate family. Only with friends would I get a run for my money, but that'd be rare that we'd get together and play it.

That's the same for me with Scene-It. I'd probably crush my GF at the game since I know a ton of more movie trivia then she does, so it probably wouldn't be really fun

Scene-It for 360 is aimed at casual movie fans, I haven't run across a hard question yet. I've played this with over a dozen different groups and the scores are usually close. You might be faster on the draw, but the questions are so easy, anyone with a mild movie interest can contend.

On the other hand, the part where you have to put 5 different movies in order of release can be almost impossible..

Maybe I haven't hit the hard ones yet in that, the ones I've seen are pretty basic and common sense oriented. I've yet to get the achievement for getting all five in that though, someone always manages to be a second faster and snake at least one.

Today's deal: Nitendo DS Starter Tins (aka Lunch Boxes) @ $11.99 (60% off) Link

This awesome Nintendo DS accessory set comes in a collectible retro lunch box-style tin! Everything you need to have fun and protect your DS: flat system wrap, headphones, car adapter, 2 silicone game cases, 2 screen protectors and 3 replacement styluses.
Choose from Princess Peach (Pink) or Mario (Red).

With my son's b-day in a month and my daughter's b-day a month after that, we bought a pair. Not a bad deal.

Damn, I'm trying not to spend money and this shows up. I have been waiting to pick up Gears of War, and this may just put it over the top.

But at least he gave credit to where he found it. We can't be jealous that speedy has expanded his domain.
