I think it is really disappointing that the Gold Box deals are never even as good as the pre-order specials.

Yeah, I generally go pre-order to pre-order, so I'm typically applying $10-20 credit from the order that just shipped.

For some reason, the PS3 versions of Tiger Woods 12 are discounted right now.

Tiger Woods 12 Regular Edition for $37/Collector's Edition for $64.96

The regular edition is the way to go since the 5 extra courses you get in the Collector's Edition are available as a Birdie Pack on PSN for $15. You save $12.96 going that route.
