Amazon has both Goldeneye and Zelda: Skyward Sword up for pre-order.
$50 and $60 respectively. That's right, $50 for a Wiimake and the first (?) $60 Wii game.
on both.

If I was to venture a guess, I'd say that the higher Zelda price MAY be due to a packed-in Motion Plus....considering the game requires it, they may not want to add any confusion about how to get their "second biggest series after Mario" new game to play to those who aren't as tech savvy.....

BTW : What's in the motion plus attachment anyway? A gyroscope? Whatever it is, I think it's strange they didn't just include it in the new wiiomtes. That current system is such an inelegant jury-rig; you'd think they could have come with a better work around by now.

Noticed that. It's in my Gold Box for $47.50 right now. I just can't pull the trigger. I think I'm over motion, for the most part.

It's in the Gold Box but doesn't even have a release date yet?!? Or am I missing something?

Gold Box "Quick Picks" at the bottom of the Gold Box page. It's a daily offering of random items based on your shopping preferences that offers an additional 3%-5% off those particular items.

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX
So, my power brick (at least I'm hoping that's all it is) died for my Wii, the day I received Super Mario Galaxy 2 for my birthday. I feel like I'm being tortured. Any suggestions on how to tell if that's actually what's wrong, and if there's any easy way to fix it? I thought I remember reading that people just had the fuse blow out in theirs, but I'm not sure.

you did leave it unplugged at both ends (from the wall and the wii) for at least 10 minutes before trying ?
mine "trips" when there is a small power fluctuations (it's on a surge supressor but not a ups) and I have to leave it unplugged from both ends for a few minutes.

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX
I have had it unplugged for a while, actually, and haven't tried plugging it back in. I'll go try that right now.
Edit: It works! Thank you x 1,000,000. Awesome.

Given that it's relatively common for the Wii power brick to need a reset, it almost seems like they should have put a switch on it for that purpose.

Indeed. It gives a lot of people a good scare. Unplugging from both ends for an extended period of time isn't exactly intuitive, which is why I think Nintendo should have hard-wired a reset switch, at least in the new SKU.

Wow, the reviews for Other M sure aren't lighting the world on fire so far. Heck, Game Informer only gave it a 6.25 out of 10.

Most are higher, 8.6 on GameTrailers and 8.5 on IGN, but still.

I pulled this thread up with my 6 year-old daughter sitting to the right of me. It took her 3 seconds to look over and say "That's cool!" Thanks, Decker...
