They aren't really for what they are and who they're aimed at. However, her delivery...wow. She stresses all of the wrong syllables it and has that weird pacing on her speech.

I'm not. Sure WHAT it is. That would make you THINK that she. Had strange pacing.

The thing is, the way she's phrasing and emphasizing words, she's giving reviews to parents but acting like her audience are 4 year olds. She's talking like they do on kids' TV shows.

Here's a fun game: Play all three youtube reviews on the first page and try to make your head not explode.

Without playing the YouTube links and just looking at the still pictures, I assumed everyone's reaction about her "hotness" was typical Internet hysteria over someone with a pair of breasts. Then I played the links and must concede there is definitely something about her. Just looking at the grainy screenshots does not do her justice.

Oddly enough, their review of Mass Effect they (since I DOUBT she writes them(see what I did there)) avoid discussing the nudity at all.

Editor & Host

I joined KidConfidence as Editor and Video Host in March 2006. I grew up with the Atari 2600, Commodore 64, and sold Pepperoni’s (not kidding) at a fund raiser to afford a Nintendo NES in 1986. I worked as a Front-End Development Manager for Toys “R” Us Corp, where I was instrumental in the creation and operation of “R” Zone and Imaginarium departments. Today, the Imaginarium “boutique” offers a broad selection of educational toys from category leaders that promote creativity, learning and “smart play.”
Yep, just a stay-at-home mom who doesn't play videogames or write her own material.

Who cares, if that is the case she is just the voice of the review and really it doesn't matter. What matters is the message, and who ever really writes the messages has been pretty fair and on the right path. I totally agree with the call of duty review. How often do you see someone in the industry or at least in an outlet of the industry where a large number of parents can easily find it and relate to it laying the message right out on the table and saying "we disagree with the ERSB, we as informed parents are saying this is suitable for someone younger. The ERSB just gave it a mature rating to cover their ass's"? When most people in the digital and print video game medias "attempt" to take a stand like that most of the time they feel they have to accompany their acclamations with a dick and fart joke so as to not leave themselves totally open and be able to fall back on the "it was just us kidding aspect".

I applaude that and think that if more parental PEERS would stand up and actually speek calmly and on a level more parents could understand we wouldn't have half the video game related media fall out we do now. If you placed a parent in a situation where there was their OWN, their very own flesh and blood child, and an adult media figure and they were both trying to convince the mother that video games were good who is she going to believe and who's pro's and con's are going to stand out in her mind the most?

Well, I actually -listened- to the REVIEW and man was that painful. Her words are all stilted. I don't thin she has ever played a video game.

Yes, she's not a very good speaker, so that must also mean that she has never played a video game.
