This weekend was pretty much all R6V2 for me. The only other stuff I did was load up Rock Band to DL the update and look at the music store and played a little bit of Animal Crossing during my commute home/back.

Re-earning my Guitar Hero:2 achievements (Created a new online acct so I lost all of my points). Played hard last night & didn't fail until Carry Me Home. I finished the rest of the set, so after CMH & Free Bird I'll be OK.

For the weekend:
Halo 3 online team slayer
GH:2
Rock Band
PGR4
Poker Smash
GH:3
Oblivion
...and a slight dabble of Smash Bros. Brawl

Rock Band - going through BWT solo. Already capped my medium fans after the update.

Endless Ocean - Finally spent about 45 minutes on the game. Very relaxing. If only it were hi-def.

TLOZ: Phantom Hourglass - I'm searching for my 3 rare minerals to forge the sword. Got one. I'm stuck on the other two. Fucking Goron kid.

Luxor 2
- Finally booted this up to finish off my save file that had 20 lives on it. Burned them all on level 9 and 10 on Normal. The game is brutally cheap at that point. Tossing in orange marbles that are barely distinguishable from the red. Burning through 3-4 lives per level when you can run through the first 70 on one life is terrible design. At least I didn't hit the glitch this time. My score(24million) was good enough for 400th on the leaderboards and about 20 million higher than the next DVDtalker on my friends list.

Spluenker - Not getting anywhere fast here. Just don't have the patience for the cheap deaths anymore. Falling in a hole for an instant death you could easily climb out of is terrible design. I had far more patience in my youth for that kind of thing.

So lots of disappointment this weekend.

Quite a few games on MLB 08. I'm starting to get the hang of it. A few rounds of True Swing Golf on the DS Lite.

I played a lot of Shiren the Wanderer; I beat the main dungeon, saved xmiyux once, did a few rescues from GameFAQs members and died a lot. I also beat Kameo after spending two hours looking for the last elemental fruit (it was from a "help a person" mission and I never picked up the reward, dammit). I also beat the final two levels of N+. I started a new game on Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja since I'm waiting to be rescued myself in Shiren and I also picked up Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles DS and played a couple of dungeons in the three player mode.

I played some more NHL 08 online this weekend. The EA servers are awful (can't go into the lobby without it freezing), but going to "Quick Match" works. Besides it being a very annoying game for online at times; it's probably the most fun to play.

My record is 34-53-7.

I played some more of Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulations and Donkey Kong Country 2, during my flight and recovery times in the morning/afternoon in Vegas.

I also played some more Mass Effect when I got back. The Side Quests are pretty bland, they should have just chopped out about 3/4 of the clusters and only had the relevant ones to the main story if the side missions were going to be so uninspired.

I'm going to be playing Williams Pinball, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and hopefully finish Zack & Wiki.

If only my wife would stop playing Luxor.

Blue Dragon and Rock Band so far.
I need to finish Portal, I got stuck on one puzzle. Need to beat Bane on Puzzle Quest too, but he's kicked my ass each time. I'm stuck in Eternal Sonata too (I hate backtracking/switchflipping mazes). Might put Oblivion back in, I haven't done much with that recently.
I need to finish *something*.

Got back into DMC4. It's a lot more fun now that the combos and such are pretty much 2nd nature...
