I just had the strangest experience, at the beginning it pissed me off but when i saw what it has done, well its better.

Throughout the first few games of my season in franscise mode, when i would start a game, the match would just begin, none of that board showing who's playing, the venue or the lineups but now i tried to start a match and the field was all white, so i deleted my season and the next one i started did the same, so i deleted my entire profile and created a new one, thats what upset me as i was about 15 games into the season, however now when i play a game in the season all the pre-match stuff like the lineups etc are there, which is great. Also when im batting the lineup appears showing whos batting for me, that wasnt there before.

Glitch, perhaps?

I finished a 20 inning game in my season using the Mets facing the Nationals. I actually had a shutout with Pedro going into the 8th. I was up 2-1 in the ninth and I brought in Wagner for the save which he blew. Later on Delgado hit a homer which put me up 3-2. In the bottom of that inning Wise gives up a homer to Young for the second blown save of the game. This was I think in the 18th. The top three in the order had 9 ABs each.

Played my first game last night!! Mets vs. Phillies I hit 2 home runs with Alou and Delgado but alas I gave up too many runs. The left handed pitchers screw me up with the pitching scale. Easily the best baseball game I've ever played.

I just finished my first RTTS season in the majors. I earned ROY, but didn't get any achievement points for it. That sucks, I thought that would pull in huge points for me. I also lead the league in steals, and nothing.

You were playing The Show on a 360?

Ermm.... no, what the heck are they called in RTTS? Advancement points? Training points? Can't remember, but I'm obviously mixing up the jargon of achievement points of 360 vs. achievement points of RTTS.

This game is tough. I'm not used to actually having to worry about balls and strikes. I've been able to get away with swinging at anything. It's just too damn realistic. But it's great.

I struck out the first 9 batters of the game with Hernandez, ended up with 15 for the game.

I just finished my first season in franchise mode. I'm about to start the World Series...my Pittsburgh Pirates vs. the Boston Red Sox. I played every fifth game during the regular season (each Zack Duke start).

Beat the Rockies in the first round and the Mets in the NLCS.

I need help because every time I turn on my ps3 and the show tries to start a screen comes up that says "The latest update for this game has been found. To sign in and play this game, you must update the game to the latest version. The system will quit the game and starting installing."

there is an "OK" prompt which I click and when I do the system restarts and takes me back to this screen. Then i get error code 80710103 an error occurred during the download operation and the system restarts.

Anyone know what the hell is wrong?

Sorry man, no idea. I know that my PS3 gets a little wonky every time I have a system update, but I've never seen an error message on anything I've done.

I got to play the game by just hitting cancel, but i'm not able to do anything online. I search around the web and there are other users like me having the same problem but no solution to it.

Received my free Braves hat today. Completely forgot that I had this coming, it's a nicer hat than I thought but the back of it has an MLB 08: The Show logo across the velcro strap which looks a little odd. But not fair to complain for free, I sent mine in the day it came out so they should be arriving soon for everyone that registered the first week it came out.
