I have a question regarding open chat while playing band quickplay.. how do you enable it? I'm thinking it's thru the headset but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

If it's on the PS3, there is no chat option. If it's on the 360, what instrument are you going through? If it's the Strat or the drums, I believe you need to use that adapter that came with the bundle. If it's the mic, you need to hold down the right trigger, I believe, and then talk into the mic.

Oh.. shit.. I gotta find the adapter.

Works pretty damn well! I ordered the alarm switch from
the OP in that thread and got a cable at Radio Shack.
Already had the pedal and I used a KD-80 instead of a practice pad.

I'm also in for Simple Man, Message in a Bottle, and Fuel. I don't know any of that thrash stuff, but I'll listen to it before I decide for sure, and for the covers, I always wait for the YouTube videos to come out before I buy.

Um, okay, holy shit The Perfect Drug master track is coming to Rock Band! And March of the Pigs! I won't be satisfied until I'm playing drums on The Perfect Drug. Oh, how awesome.

Also, while it's only a pair of covers, I will get Wrathchild and Supernaut.

As usual I will be getting all the above. Definitely can't wait for the NIN pack and Fuel, but overall happy with most of those songs.

March will be a light DLC month for me...if those hold true I'm just getting the NIN pack...but that is one of the best packs I've ever heard of, so I'm pretty psyched.

That seems like it'd be an easy song to get a pretty close cover version for, as opposed to Rush or whatever.

I'll probably just get the 3 classic rock songs and Fuel. Good assortment/variety at least. But I really wish they'd make them available as a 3 song pack every week.

I'm a little jealous. I just bought a 360 and might have to get a copy of Rock Band. I hadn't really looked at the track list for RB before since I didn't have anything to play it on, but I'm impressed. Pixies, Radiohead, R.E.M., Bowie, T.Rex, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana... I really like Guitar Hero, but I can't say I love a lot of the songs in it.

I added in this stuff from OXM to the DLC post, and I realize that as time goes on, that list is going to get massive! Even though I have it in spoilers for available and announced, should I further split up the available into months, or just leave it as is? I went in and bolded the weeks and italicized the packs or individuals to make things a little easier to read, but any other suggestions would rock.

sorry if i missed it but, why is the coheed & cambria Ten Speed a cover when Welcome Home is the master? seems odd since they're from the same album. the vocals on the cover are lacking
