Is there anyway to play NTSC J games on a US console? And if so, where can I get a modded console to do this?

You need a swap disc or a mod chip, we can't really talk about it in detail here since those are primarily used for piracy, sadly. I really hope Sony lifts the PS1/PS2 region codes on the PS3 through firmware so I can play my legal imports without needing the PS2 hooked up as well.
