I dunno about you guys, but when I see someone playing a game I always move my thumbs like *I* am playing it.

It's the gamers way of saying "I play games too".

Seriously man, that or a lost Chappelle's Show sketch. I'm still not convinced it's not some secret internet meme, making fun of videogamers. All it needs is some lolcats to complete it.

I know it looks stupid when they show people playing videogames in TV shows however it's not any different then any crime show like CSI where they solve cases really quick over the weekend. It's TV so don't expect reality.

I just....words escape me. I can't understand how even now as more than half the world plays video games they still represent this stuff like it is some "new fangled" under ground sensation that no one knows about. Its like how my grandma refers to every bit of electrical high-tech machinery in my house as a "radio".

Shawn of the Dead had a good representation of what it is like to actually play a video game.

Hey now. Games that unlock secret excel spreadsheets after defeating level 10 is pretty new "fangled."

It is not PoP, but Nippon Ichi's latest SRPG that unlocks a spreadsheet, but only after you reach level 39251

I figure this is the thread to give Chuck the credit it deserves. It got Call of Duty 4 right on the monitors in the store and even had Morgan playing it correctly. I love that real geeks and nerds can find this stuff. Heck, Chuck even has some of the televisions in the Buy More store displaying stretched/zoomed 4:3 material on the 16:9 displays.
