Games released on multiple platforms, which system (PC vs XB360) do you buy for?
Just curious to see what the general consensus is on the following:
When a game is released for the PC and XB360, which system would you prefer to buy the game for? Please assume that your PC can handle the latest games.
Eg. COD4, Bioshock, Oblivion... PC or XB360?
I always buy RTS games for the PC and sports games for the XB360. I am not so sure on FPS and RPG games.
RE:FPS
My reaction times with the XB controller are not very good so I'd prefer to get FPS games for the PC but those darn pesky achievements are so addicting.
RE:RPG
I like the customization options or mods that are generally available for the PC version. However, playing an RPG on a widescreen 50" TV with 5.1 surround is pretty good too.
Please sound off with your thoughts!

360. Can't afford the supercomputer required to handle most new games these days. Besides, even when my set-up was pretty good for games, I never really played them much on the computer -- it takes forever for them to be installed, and they take up a ton of HD space. The 360 just works better for me.
Except for RTS and simulation games, where I don't think the consle will ever be as good as a PC for those types of games.

I usually get FPS and strategy for the PC. Sometimes RPGs too. I like achievements, but not enough to play FPS on a console if I don't have to. I do borrow 360 FPS games on occasion when I'm looking to get some achievements. They are usually games I've already played on the PC.

Any FPS or third person shooter that requires aiming I will buy for the PC, because of the superior mouse/keyboard controls. I would switch to the 360 for FPS games, if games had inherent mouse/keyboard support, a controller just doesn't feel right for these games.
I buy RTS games for the PC also.
Platformers, action-adventure, sports, etc. I buy for the console. I think any game that requires precision jumping is a nightmare with a keyboard.
I will buy a game for the Wii if the motion controls add something fun to the game (ie, The Godfather from what I've read), the 360 if it's more about the graphics.

I've been a PC gamer exclusively for many years but faced with the prospect of buying an OS I don't want and upgrading my video card AGAIN I thought; why the hell am I doing this?
I bought a XBOX 360 a few days ago and it cost way less that the upgrades contemplated for my computer. I may add a PS3 if I see a good sale and it would still cost less than a good gaming computer...and no upgrades for years!!!!!
So to answer your question, console. I still have the Orange Box on PC but after that.... no more PC for ME.
Oh yeah, and playing on a 65" widescreen is killer!!

Single Player -> Console, I have a 109" mounted screen to play on, it beats the shit out of my 19" LCD.
Multiplayer (most), RTS Games -> PC, I like typing and not having to hear douchebags.
