Yes, the end is a big cliffhanger with no resolution whatsoever.

Great news... I was hoping they'd continue with the Vegas theme as that was the major selling point for me for the last one. I just loved the environment and the way it added to the concept.

Kinda off-topic, but has anyone heard anything about GRAW3?

Didn't know if anyone noticed, but Rainbow Six Vegas Limited Edition is Amazon's Deal of the Day today for video games for $19.99. Pretty much a steal at that price.

R6:V was was one of the best complete experiences on the 360. I played through the campaign twice, played through it with my friend on co-op mode, and my brother and I agreed to play through it around Christmas when we're home. Plus the multiplayer, despite a few small flaws, was so much fun, it's my most played retail title by far, and I can't wait to put some more time into it, and I'm really really looking forward to the sequel. It'll be a day 1 purchase for me.

I saw. I broke down and ordered it. That was the price point I was waiting for...

I posted this over on CAG, but might as well here. If you pre-order at BB, apparently you get an exclusive assault rifle in-game.

There's a new review up at TeamXbox on some of the MP gameplay and a few movies as well. So far it's shaping up to be a heck of a game.

Bah, I still have the first one unopened that I never got around to play. Picked it up when it dropped to $29. Should I get RSV2 or play through the first one?

OMG, play thru the first one. It's fantastic. Multi-player is even better.

Heck, even grab a few for coop online, that's plenty fun as well.

I highly recommend playing through single player. The co-op does not include the cut-scenes, and the story will make minimal sense (and the ending will not play) if you play online.

Most of you probably know this already, but for those who don't, Gametop is offering an additional multiplayer map. Excerpt from the website:

"Pre-order Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and receive the code to unlock the Comcast Optimized MLG map! Optimized for more intense multiplayer face-off, this GameStop exclusive is only available through pre-order. Offer is good while supplies last. Codes and instructions for how to unlock the map will be included in the game's box. See stores for details."

I would assume all these codes will be available online the day the game hits retail.
It's not like they're pressing different discs for the different stores.

I really need to play the first one soon. Everyone that I play COD4 with is planning to jump when RSV2 releases and I don't want to be the odd man out who has no idea what the game is all about.

Well I'll take back the coop play and yes go for the single play at first. Still the coop is a blast.

Between RS:Vegas, GOW, Halo 3 and COD4 I felt RS:Vegas was longer and had a better story line just a bit over the others. There are some elements of COD4 that have that same feel. If I had time I'd play it again before 2 comes out.

Will everyone from CoD 4 start playing this now like everyone left RS: V for CoD 4?

I prefer the term "hands-on impressions."

Well the latest preview is up at Teamxbox with Co-op play and one bit of sad news...no (4) player co-op! It has to do with not fitting the storyline or something like that. One player commands the AI while the other rides shotgun.

I don't have a problem with that. As much as I love the idea of 2-4 player cop-op in various games, it's a bit difficult to hook up with anyone to play co-op missions.

< Sad sack.

WTF? No 4 player coop. All my friends had preordered this expecting to get in some 4 player.
