Yeah. I still can't believe our score on that Coheed and Cambria song. First time I heard it or played it and we managed about 650k.
Will have to jam again sometime.

. No one ever seems to pick it when playing online, though. One of the two times I've managed to get leader, I chose it and the bassist left immediately after it started

Do I just suck or is there a possible problem with "refractory period"? On songs where there's a very fast string of the same note (such as Paranoid) I can never make the full string, it seems like the strum bar doesn't 'bounce back' as fast.

Anyone with problems, I suggest you go through EA's warranty support. One of my drum pads didn't work and they will advance ship a replacement and include prepaid shipping label for the non working drums. Quick and easy online, no need to speak to someone.

So, I'm sitting here, and all I can think about is how I hope and pray that I get my bundle tomorrow from UPS. After watching a video of the drums on '...And Justice For All', my anticipation just went up another five notches. I've always been more of a drums person. Guitar Hero got me into guitars, but it's always been drums for me, which is why I couldn't resist this game.
I doubt I get more than 2 winks of sleep this weekend.
Question though, say you do the drums and vocal, can you do the BWT then, or do you have to have another person?

I take it this is the video you're talking about:

I think my Strat has begun double strumming. I was playing I Think I'm Paranoid on hard, and most of it is single notes. I'd play the note and let go of the strum bar, and when I let go the game would make the broken note sound and my streak counter would go back to zero. I switched to the Les Paul and had no problems.

Can anyone who has both do a quick comparison because I am seriously considering going out and buying the bundle so I can have the mic if it works a lot better.

I am not very happy that 2 days after I get the game one of the instruments is already broken. I guess I'm going to have to contact their support and get a replacement shipped to me. I have read that a lot of people are experiencing the same problem. I can imagine this is costing them a ton of money and reputation.
I just played a song that I had 5* and got about 150k on it and hit 99% of the notes. I played it just now and got only 4*, 91% notes hit and 46k.
And I can def say it isn't just a case of me not hitting notes.
I plugged in my guitar hero 2 guitar and played the song again. I got 5* 130k 99% and a 813 note streak.

I THINK you can use any USB mic, so there may be a ~$20 or so mic out there that would work just as good?
EDIT: I wonder if something like this would work? http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-97855...5789527&sr=1-1

OK, so this is lame.
My wife and I are playing the World Tour mode, and we're two cities in...yet we just had a popup saying that in order to gain more fans, we have to move up a difficulty level.
I'm holding my own on guitar on medium, but the drums are HARD even on easy for both myself and my wife. So basically, two cities in, career mode is over? We pretty much can't advance further?
So disappointed.

I shouldn't have to do that. We should be able to play the game the way we want to play it. She loves drumming, even if it is on easy. Whoever heard of a career mode that you can't even complete without moving up to a higher difficulty level? I mean, we're two cities in.

Holy
I played through on an SDTV for the first 12 hours or so during thanksgiving. Came back today and set it back up. I can't even get 15% in on the drums on medium on the easy songs that I could play on hard. I FCd a few songs on expert with the guitar sight reading, and now I can barely get through them. Calibration doesn't help one bit after messing with it forever.

Eh? The wife and I are playing the multiplayer band and we are advancing, I am doing the guitar and she is singing on Easy. With that said...
The strumming is messed up on this guitar. It seems like it is way too stiff for the faster notes. Plugged in my Xplorer and it worked just fine. And the drumming takes quite abit of calibration to get going properly, mine still isn't 100 percent.
