Hmm, I decided to enter mine even though I got it back from Microsoft about 2 months ago, and it didn't decline it. I know previously when they offered those two free XBLA games for people who bought between a certain date, I entered my previous system in that I didn't buy during those set dates but I still got the games. Worth a shot I guess.

I'm 29 and I like the multiplayer...and don't care too much about achievements. Hmm...

For the most part, 12 year olds like Halo more then say CoD 4 because they suck playing something that doesn't have phony uber weapons.
However, the 12 or 13 year old with the Elmo voice dropping F-bombs last night in Free For all would tell me differently.

Ha. I knew I'd strike a nerve.
Seriously though just everyone ignore my comment. I didn't' mean to derail the thread or anything. Halo just isn't for me.

To qualify for this promotion, you are supposed to be a OG Xbox owner. Not sure how they will verify that, however (perhaps by requiring an older Xbox live account that was used with a OG xbox).

Wow, this is only for active Live accounts on existing Xbox systems... how many people are really still playing for LIVE just to play Halo 2 on regular Xbox? This would have gotten at least a couple of my friends, all of whom own original Xboxes but were never Live subscribers, on board.

Since it really isn't that special anymore and the original thread title is now misleading, will a moderator please delete or close this thread?
