Is there a website that has pics of 360 themes? There are some I may consider using some points on but I'd like to see them first.

You can try Xbox.com, but they are not always up to date.

There used to be a great site, but they stopped updating this summer, then closed up shop and now, checking Google, it seems they're completely gone. I've forgotten the web address entirely

Anyone else download the I Am Legend theme? I realize it is free content but it's the same damn picture on every blade. That seems cheap, cheaper than free mind you, and lazy to me.

Would that be dashboardthemes.com, perhaps? They never really had everything up to date anyways, and from looking at their page now, they seem to be kind of dicks.

- Free table

- 3 free boss songs
- Free Halo theme

- Free DLC, whatever it turns out to be

Then you have the arcade game sales and now XBLA Greatest Hits at half price.

Yeah Mike, I too have been very impressed with the free stuff on marketplace. I love the idea of themes and gamer pics, and call me cheap but I just cannot bring myself to spend points on a theme or gamer pic. Something like that should be free, I know people still have to work on them, but come on they are just pics. Your going to laugh but I check the marketplace everyday for new free stuff.... :D Its kind of a pain in the butt going through all the different catagories and subcatagories but I will check the whole marketplace (especially the themes and gamerpic section) VERY carefully daily, and there have been ALOT of free themes and pics in the last year. :banana:

I don't believe you'll need to go through that anymore, I'm pretty sure they're adding a 'Free' section next week with the update.

After a year of having my 360, and years of never having an issue with any console (including an original PlayStation), I got the red ring of death yesterday. I called MS and have a box on it's way but I can still play games on my 360. The red lights are flashing the whole time but it seems like the games are running fine - is that normal?

That's pretty much what I thought. The red lights should come along with a system failure, right?

I'm thinking of just continuing to play until the inevitable end and just send it in then...

:lol: Well, if it gets up and walks at least I've learned how to take it down with a shower head.

Zuma's fun but once I got used to playing it on my DS (called Magnetica on it), it is really tough for me to play it without a stylus. Sounds strange but I just can't get the feel of moving the toad around as efficiently as just zipping my stylus across the screen.

I love Zuma, it is the most relaxing game on any current gen console (I say game, since I don't consider flOw an actual game). Lots of fun, too.

I like Zuma as well, picked it up during the 1/2 off sale (which looks like it'll be perm. with the dash update). But the achievements are a bitch.

It happens, unfortunately. My first 360 crapped out just before the 90 day mark, then again about 6 months later. Its been about a year now, and its still going strong (knock on wood). Hopefully MS will get their shit together, it's a fantastic console, now it just needs to work.

That's a positive post, thanks, really need a positive boost... i hope the repaired one or replacement will be the last.

Everyday Shooter on PS3 takes my title as most relaxing game. :) fl0w not so much, POS tech demo that I paid for. Grrrr.

Forgive me if I missed it, but does anyone have a "new" 360? I'm looking for opinions on them, especially the Elites w/ 120 HDD... I want to know what everyone thinks of them and what kind of problems are occurring with them. Thanks!

I hear ya. I got the RROD within an hour of opening the box. Replacement is still going strong a year later. (Knocks on wood.)

I have a new Pro 360. But I'm afraid opinions aren't going to do much. I had my launch unit for just a hair under two years without one problem ever, then it just went dead.

So far so good though, if that helps.

I have always tended to hate any form of grinding in video games, but how it is implemented in Crackdown is genius! I am addicted to finding these little green orbs!

Dunno if anyone cares, but I just got my GamerScore to be 99,999 which I thought was kind of cool as opposed to just randomly going over 100k. I saved a few pics to always remember 2 years of hard work and wasted life :) I'm actually kind of proud that I earned every point, no cheating or game saves for me!
