I actually went there this afternoon to cancel my pre-order for Assassins Creed (going to Fry's for that now), and they saw that I had Mario paid for. The guy handed me the packing with the coin inside and said that it would be in a day early. That the general manager was going to go to the warehouse and drop off the shipments personally to every store in the area on Monday morning, and that I could pick it up after 2pm.

TRU has deal going on where you get at $25 gift card with the game.

I played about 30min of the game this weekend and am giddy with excitement. Yeah that's right, I just said I'm giddy.

Does anyone know if TRU should have this in stores tomorrow, or will it be Wednesday?

I just got the funniest message on my answering machine. Mario called from Gamestop and told me since I pre-ordered I could pick my game up tomorrow. That sure made my night. rotfl

I played with my girl for over an hour this evening, what a blast! I'm really enjoying this. The most entertaining game on the Wii, without a doubt. It looks absolutely gorgeous, runs like a dream. Walking sideways and upside down takes some getting used to at first, but it's a very small learning curve in the end. I'm itchin to play right now but I left my Wii at her place so she could enjoy it while I get into Assassins Creed and Mass Effect.

I'm about an hour and a half into it and it's pretty darn cool. Love the crazy physics.

kinda cool for a phone call, but makes me realize I'd never want Mario talking through an entire game.

I'm hoping to pick up a copy today, but it may not be available in Southern Ontario until tomorrow. I really want to play it - it looks badass.

Well as usual Amazon looks like they won't ship this on time. Cancelled my order with them.

I just stopped in Fry's this morning and picked up a copy. They didn't have a ton out though - I assume the majority went to pre-orders.

Any idea about how long the game is?

I was just flipping through the manual and Z-Jump is back. Yes! That was my favorite move in the old one as I have mentioned many times on here.

It's supposed to be about 15-20 hours from beginning to end, and about 25-30 if you plan on collecting and doing every optional thing in the game.

you have to lay down on your stomach with your hands at your side when Mario's on the ground, and with your hands stretched out as if you're flying when Mario's in the air - it totally helps with immersion - Myamoto's a friggin' genius!

^ I sure hope you know how to triple-jump and have vaulted ceilings where you play.
