it's like any other industry, there are friends and family, other insiders who tend to get things like this a bit earlier than some, but there is also the pirate factor out there.....

In that case, isn't it against forum rules for them to talk about having it? (if it's pirated)

Which is it for you?

Only for the how-to's and where to find it. Discussion of the product is fine, to my knowledge.

SmackDaddy 11-05-07 07:18 AM

Got to see it in action at Wal-Mart (which, for whatever reason, is setting up 360, Wii and PS3-featuring Rock Band- kiosks in their gardening sections).

Too bad they had it hooked up to a nice LCD set via composite cables. Looked a little rough that way.

But, it looks like a lot of fun. I'll be picking it up this week, hopefully at Toys R Us.

I stated what my reason for having it early was....

Why the intense interest in something which isnt relevant to the discussion?

This is a great game, and I highly recommend you purchase a copy on release day.

AllHipHop.com is getting in on the reviewing action, and has reviewed Super Mario Galaxy. Hit the link for the review:

This game and the VC are going to end up making me buy a Wii.

I played this today at the gamestop kiosk for a bit. Very impressive. I planned to get it anyway, but I'm practically beside myself at this point.

Haven't you asked this about a dozen times by now? Have the plethora of answers you've received on the subject not been satisfactory to this point?

I just would like to know if you know what a plethora is. I would not like to think that a person would tell someone he has a plethora, and then find out that that person has *no idea* what it means to have a plethora.

AndyCleveland 11-06-07 12:40 PM

im now 85 stars into the game. it does get increasingly more challenging. the first 50-60 stars seemed pretty simple to get (almost too easy at times)... some of these comet challenges and secret galaxies are taking 10-15 tries to complete, which IMO is a good thing... i dont want this game to be over because i know it will be a long time b4 nintendo releases another good platformer

MadonnasManOne 11-07-07 12:44 AM

It would appear that some Best Buy locations have broken the street date for Super Mario Galaxy, and are already selling it.

You know what the great thing is? He's a teacher. Everytime i see one of his posts i keep thinking he should be a detective or some shit like that cuz all he does is question everything.

My guess is that this is a corporate directive trying to sell as many copies as possible before the Toys R Us deal breaks.
