It's probably one of those "I don't want to know because I'll be depressed" things.

I would love to see some ports, tailored for widescreen, of some of the later Gradius games on XBLA. Or even bringing the Gradius collection that's on PSP to XBLA. Widescreen tv's just screem for revisiting this series.

Next week will be the first XBLA game I've bought since I purchased my Xbox over three months ago. -eek-

If you are on a mount, you SKIP over EVERY enemy on the world map that's lower than your mount !!!! You only have to fight enemies that are higher than your mount !!!

PQ:

I ran out of quests! Other than repeats, I have no more quests on the board. My rat mount is at level 22 and I can skip 75% of enemies on the map. It gets crazy, you have to beat monsters with THREE SECONDS per turn, and they get tougher and tougher.

PQ is good, but it ain't THAT GOOD! One thing I like about the 360 version : streaming music off my computer. That quest music gets old.

Anyone buy Galactica? Amazingly, there are still no reviews up for it.

I'm gold-farming. 16k and counting, and I just spent 18k in battle stats. Every 20k or so Gallia rebels and I have to re-win it, but that's 1 battle per 20k instead of 1 per 200 gold with the catapults :D

If I play 20 or so minute a day (about 20k), that would get me up 30 levels in each of the seven areas a month.

ARGH! There's a point where you can't buy any more points!! :( I have 30k in gold and it won't let me level up at the temple anymore. Sigh. I ended up at

Yeah, I believe in the menu where you spend money for points it tells you how many left you can buy.

What am I supposed to do now? :( PQ's basically over for me. Beat the game, finished all quests, level 50, used up all points, have a level 26 mount, forged 4 items, learned a spell... pretty much all that's left over is forging, spells, and mounts. I'm definitely not about to start over with another character.

Why not? Supposedly the game can be pretty different depending on your character type.

That's what my girlfriend did when she had nothing else to do in the game. -eek-

With all this talk, I finally tried PQ out. Decent, but not my bag. If I want a puzzle game, I'll play a puzzle game. :) I prefer them fast and furious, so the turn based action was a big turn off.

I can see it being addictive though.

I tried to tell you that you could only buy 2 points per level from the Temple when you first got the game. Guess you didn't listen. :) In the DS/PSP versions, I believe you can max all your stats at the temple if you needed to, but I'm not sure.

Because it was freaking hard to get to where I am now :p :D

I'm moving on to Lumines.
