Now that would be sweet. I would love to see some of the later 80's & 90's tables that I played on years ago.

Never heard of it, but that looks sweet. Is it similar to Aegis Wing? Looks like it from the vid, but hard to tell from a 20 second trailer.

It's more like Mutant Storm Reloaded (which is already on XBLA). I actually think its superior to Geometry Wars.

When does Empire come out?

It's basically a jacked up version of Smash TV or Total Carnage.

I didn't know that. I'll check that out tonight. I like Geometry Wars but didn't fall head-over-heels in love with it like everyone else.

Stupid PQ question, but how do you attack a city?

Just played that E4 demo not knowing a damn thing about it. I gotta say once I figured out what the hell was going on I was definitely liking it. There is something strangely satisfiying doing those insanely long chains of explosions. The scoring is rediculous too, during the 15 minute demo I racked up a score of 1.2 trillion, just beating the preset high score.

Go to the city and select "siege". You'll--get this--match gems and skulls.

I tried the demo of EEEE (eeee!), I didn't really see the appeal. It was a nice little demo, and I'll probably keep it on there, but I don't see myself paying points/money for it.

Finally figured out how to siege a city. You have to have bought a Siege workshop in your citadel.

11/12 achievements, and I just beat the game. I got lucky in the last fight and did it on the first try (200 pts vs ~350 or so). The only achievement I have left is to forge a G-d-like item, whatever that is. I just forged my first item

Got 3 cities beaten. I really dislike how there's enemies ALL OVER the map, and they respawn quite frequently. I beat them every time, but it may take 30 minutes to get from one end of the map to the other. It's annoying.

Well, that's a page from the RPG book--random encounters. Can be annoying (although nothing I've played beats the random encounters from Skies of Arcadia on DC. If the game weren't so darn good in every other respect I would have quit in frustration.)
Sorry, I forgot about the workshop.
It took me like a dozen tries to successfully siege, but now I think I have three cities in addition to my starting one.

Congrats! I just beat Duogog and siezed some cities as well. Having Heat Sink is HUGE against Ogres. I need to win an online match but never found anyone on.

Just tried out EXIT. Sad to say, it's exactly the same as the PSP version. Don't get me wrong, I love the PSP version, but was hoping that they had fixed a few of the annoying things about the game like the repetitive phrases that the victims say over and over and the way Mr Esc goes all the way up the staircase if you want him to turn around. The game is one of my most-played PSP games, so it's certainly worth $10 if you like the demo. Still, for someone who has beaten the PSP version, I doubt there's any point in picking this one up. Especially since the demo levels seem to be identical to the corresponding levels on the PSP game.

I see Flay is playing it now. Guess we'll see his review soon. Flay, make note if you've never played the PSP version before, because it does make a big difference.

kind of takes the fun out of dogfighting when it's only on one plain, I would consider x-wing and tie fighter more advanced and they came out over a decade ago

I haven't played the PSP version before. Can't say I'm in love with the controls so far. Too many pointless deaths due to the movement limitations.

I want to amend my previous post -- they did make one improvement in this version -- much easier to jump big gaps. If you think it's frustrating now, you should have seen the PSP version which required timing forward, then right at the ledge switching to the jump button to clear those big gaps. Now Mr Esc is smart enough to jump off the ledge at the end by himself if you press the jump button near the ledge. Still, yeah you'll get him to fall off ledges a lot with an errant button press.

FYI, the marketing description for Exit is a bit misleading. You don't get 220 levels with the purchase of the game, you get 120 levels.

The remaining 100 levels will be released in 2 expansion packs. No idea how much they will be charging for them.

I didn't really like Exit nor Battlestar Galactica. I just got 6400 points for $58 so I guess I get to save them I AM getting the pinball tables and the golf expansion pack.

Other than that, I'm burned out on PQ. That was a good run while it lasted. Definitely worth $15. (P.S. by burned out I mean I'm only doing 2-4 battles a day instead of 2-hour daily marathons from now on).

Can't level up after level 50 so the thing to do is siege every city in the map and collect the gold to raise your levels.

Didn't mind Galactica. Seems much better than the similar Wing Commander. Demo is actually pretty fun. I want to read some reviews before I plunk 800 points though. Skipping Exit since it's the same game I already have, with no new features, imprived graphics or variations that make it more appealing on XBLA like Lumines or PQ. Having said that, I did really enjoy solving the puzzles the first through. I actually played it for hours at a time. I would hope the extra levels are free since they're free on the PSP off the internet.

12 cities sieged Darn it I'm hooked again. Sieging cities with questing on the side. Does the game ever end? Then I have to forge items and train mounts. Too bad there's not like a timer that tells you the total amount of time played, even through things like 360voice or the XBL website.
