Eternal Sonata the first really good 360 JRPG?
Gamespots review is up: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/...s&subj=6178914 GameSpot Score 8.5 Great Eternal Sonata's superb art direction will dazzle you, but a dreamy story and exciting battles make it sing. The Good Magnificent visual design makes even the most mundane places look beautiful Stunning musical score Inventive battle system is both tactical and packed with exciting action A great cast of warm, charming characters will draw you into the story. The Bad Story is completely linear Photography element makes money too easy to earn. __________________ |

First I've heard of them having Halo 3. |

Anyone know of a car mission game like the old PS1 Driver? Loved that game and never have found a game like it. Tried Stuntman Ignition and that is way to hard for me.

Do you move around a board eating pellets like pac-man to gain power? Do you choose what emotion you are leveling up and certain emotions beat others a la rock-paper-scissor? |
Well, these videos may not answer all your questions, but should give you an idea about the gameplay:

Actually that does look sort of cool. Might very well get that. I am still hoping that Undertow comes out soon, though; that one looks awesome.

 I agree like most PS1 games it has aged horribly and is probably close to unplayable. But damn I loved it at the time. I'm not a big fan of the GTA games, just wanted something mission based, but involving cars. Not a big fan of car racing games either, so..... |
I just got an email from Xbox Live Marketplace and it listed Puzzle Quest as 1200pts, no release date yet.
|
1200? ouch. Is this just the third game over the 800 barrier? (Billiards & Lumines being the other two)
|
Damn... I think I'm still going to have to do it. I loved that freakin' game on the DS and if there's an online community, well it's a no-brainer.
Anybody else gonna get it? |
Looking at the achievement list, it might as well say "Get through the game - 175 GS".
|
I have it on the DS. For 400 i would have bought it no questions. 800 is what i expected and probably would have repurchased it. For 1200, no way.

I cried when I read this:
Radiant Silvergun on Xbox Live Arcade? With Ikaraga coming to Xbox Live Arcade we had to ask about the possibility of its superior Saturn predecessor coming to the 360. According to Maegawa, it's something they've definitely been thinking about doing, perhaps after Ikaruga is finished. However, he mentioned that it would be a much bigger undertaking, as Treasure would like to actually redo elements of the game -- basically, enhance it with high resolution visuals to make it more current. |

Tears of joy.

I think he was crying tears of joy. The comments under the bold part aren't his own, not even the clarification on what "redo elements of the game" means.

Puzzle Quest is absolutely worth 1200 points. Still, I have it on the PSP and don't know if I would repurchase it. Great, great game, though.
This week's game is only 800 though, right? |
