The Simpsons Game
Thought I'd start a thread for the Simspons Game. Anyone else looking forward to this one?
Here's some box art:

Wow, I love how the covers are all different!
I'm not sure i'd pick this up... i think i'd want to try a demo first and maybe grab it on a price drop. If anything, probably the 360 version though.

Unless the demo shows me something spectacular than forget it.
I'm still smarting over my idiotic purchase of the Transformers video game.

I will certainly play the 360 version but I am not sure it will end up being worth 60 bucks. It looks stunning but after beating it I would have little interest in it.

I heard it doesn't actually have anything to do with the movie, just sort of tying in with the buzz from the movie?
I enjoyed Simpsons Hit and Run, I'll keep an eye out for this one. I have read previews where the humor from the show (at least from "good" seasons of the show) is very much intact, so that might be worth a looksee at least.

I'll be picking it up on the 360, and even though I must be in the minority I liked Simpson's Road Rage and Simpson's Hit & Run. Heck my kids still play the gamecube version of Road Rage.

Play the game, not the license.
This poll should be a "choose many" nature since people may buy a handheld & a console version of the game (since they are different).

I can't comment on Hit and Run but Road Rage was basically a copyright infringing rip-off of Crazy Taxi, which was a great game. It's not hard to make a tie-in game good if you just steal another company's game practically point by point.

It looks good so far, so I'll probably give it a rent.
That guy in the video was music to my ears when he said it was only 11 hours or so. Short games are the order of the day.

I liked Hit and Run, but Simpsons games and other games like it always end up in the bargain bin pretty quickly. I'll just wait for it to get down to $10-$15 and then pick it up for the 360.

This looks like an amusing way to spend the weekend. When it hits the 20-30 dollar range, I'll give it another look.
I'd go with the Wii or 360, depending on the reviews. It's definitely not worth 50-60 dollars in my book.
