Thanks man :) I died twice at around the 45 second mark :'( hopefully I can get a couple good runs in to crack that by quite a bit. I've figured out the move I need to make to escape the damn ghost on my last power pellet run to clear the side that I leave pellets on to get more ghosts so now it's just a matter of getting those little bastards to line up properly for mega points at the beginning of the game. :)

Updated. There were about a half dozen new entrants. I might have to close this thing off. Kinda hard to keep track of how you are doing if new people keep jumping in ahead of you.

In short, Yes.

The trick is to not die ;) You need to capitalize on eating as many ghosts in a row as possible in the begining and then just clearing pellets as the game moves faster. Once you get to a certain point, you'll get the "key" fruit and power pellets --- again, capitalize on getting as many ghosts in a row at this point.

The trick is to minimize how many times you die-- you get more points per pellet the longer you stay alive. It sounds much harder than it is. There are patterns and you have to sometimes adjust on the fly if you don't have pinpoint timing, but it obviously can be done.

I'm going to try to play some tonight. It's been a week or two, although the last time I played I was able to finish two more of the challenge modes. I still have so many achievements to try to unlock.

I can't seem to break the 230,000 barrier right now...having some trouble. Any tips? I can usually get all of the ghosts each with the first four pellets, and can survive a bit longer without dying.

I haven't read much at all in the 360 threads here, or anywhere else, since I know if I do I'll likely spend money, and I'm trying to save for now as I'm waiting for the big titles to hit later this year (first of which for me should be Stranglehold, this month). Anyway, I didn't even know this Pac-Man game was out, so I'm way, way, way behind. I have some extra points though (thanks Best Buy Gears of War deal!), so I just went ahead and bought it, and it's downloading now.

:lol: I still have 3 of those left and I've bought 25 or so games. I added to those, 6 more from the CC deal last week.

Holy crap, I just played it for the first time and I love it.

My score for my first try was only 77,060 though. :lol:

With my 5th try or so, my high score is 133,790 so at least I'm improving a tiny bit. :lol:

Also, this game has led to me doing one of the stupidest things I've ever done in my entire history of playing video games. You know how at the end after your game is over, it'll take you to the Achievements screen, and it says to press A to continue then takes you to the Results screen and once again tells you to press A? Then right after that the replay starts?

Well, no less than two times when that happen did I think I was playing the replay as my new game. At times I was like, wow, this game must have something in it where it turns on its own, and even then I didn't think anything about it.

That happened to me not once, but twice. :lol:

I keep getting stuck at the same point. I go at most 1-2 fruits past the six-power-pellet ghost zone and that's about it. Should I have a lot more time now due to not dying? I don't know how people get 350,000, it seems impossible.

I broke my old record by about ten thousand points, I'm at 260 and change.

I'm up to 298k now. Fucked up or I'd be over 300k already
