Space Invaders is cool and all but are people really going to pay $20 for it?

I am having soooo much fun with Professor Layton. The downloadable puzzles are awesome - I'm stuck in the match one. This game rules.

I hate how rare Tetris DS is. I've been looking for it for about a month now with no luck anywhere. I know I could try ebay, but that will probably be about 40-50 dollars at least. Can the people here that own it confirm that its worth that price as a used game?

I don't think its worth that much, and I love Tetris. I think I paid $25 for it when it was new, and that was after a $5 coupon. I don't think I would've bought it at $30. But I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that I was still playing the old Tetris for the original Gameboy. I upgraded just because I thought it would be cool with all the Nintendo themes in the game, but after awhile I stopped paying attention to them.

I'd be buying it mostly for the online aspect and the classic mode. The other modes and Nintendo themed stuff is just like a bonus, I guess.

It's a great game, the online works great but no, I don't think any version of Tetris is worth that much. I dropped mine on half.com for over $50 the last time this subject came up. That's hard to pass up when I only paid about $16 for it.

Just noticed Clubhouse Games is fetching that much now as well.

I got the Japanese version 2nd hand for about $30. That's a pretty premium price considering how old the game is, I've never seen it second hand cheaper than $30, and the new one is about $35. I don't know if anyone is selling that version online but considering the type of game it is, then language is not really a big deal.

To be honest I would dump my copy if I could be bothered. For some reason this tetris version got old real fast, can't really put my finger on it.

Yup, Space Invaders Extreme (sigh) looks like an awesome update.

Which is probably a first for Space Invaders.

Damn. I had almost decided on the PSP version, but this sounds cool. I need to order one of those DS lite sized rumble carts though.

Honestly, I would have paid $40 based on the demo I played.

I'm liking the downloadable Layton puzzles and the match one was pretty diabolical. This weeks was a piece of cake though. I just love the fact there continues to be a reason to play the game weekly.

The DS version looks to be the way to go for the second screen use.

Anyone else picking up Ninja Gaiden for the DS in a few weeks? It looks pretty sweet and EGM rated it (as if that means that much) as A, A- and B in this month's magazine. I just wish I got the demo of it form the d/l station when it had it.

GS/EB has a sword stylus free with pre-order.

Wasn't the match one a duplicate of one of the main game puzzles? I've seen that puzzle a bunch of times pre-Layton, but I thought I had also seen it in Layton already.

I've played the demo of Space Invaders Extreme on the PSP like fifty times now. I am not exaggerating. My friends have played it multiple times. June = No. I might have to swallow the $40 and import it. This might be the second greatest classic remake right behind Pac-Man: Championship Edition.

No, this puzzle was harder than the match puzzles in Layton. By the way I liked this Sunday's puzzle. Reminded me of the clock one in the game.

I have this demo on my PSP memory stick at all times and find myself forcing people to play it even random strangers if necessary. Amazing remake.

Needless to say that one is on my buy list. Most of the DS tactical RPGs have been pretty mediocre, but that one should be excellent.

It's the same genre, yes.

Except with about twenty times the micromanagement.

Nothing yet, nothing on Final Fantasy IV either.

FFIV is an obvious lock and they did a full translation for DQIV, so it's just a matter of time.
