Finally got through the four scenarios in Single Player and played some multiplayer last night. Miyu, looked like you jumped in at the very end of a match I had been trying to leave.

Only played versus (on No Mercy) but it was fun, although can see how annoying it is to play when there are already people "taking advantage" of the game. Things like pushing that generator in front of elevator doors, and camping under the stairs on the roof so that you can only get to them from the front "kill corridor".

So, maybe we should plan a time for 8 of us to do some versus?

Another issue is how do you get the achievement Clean Kill?

I have done it tons of times and no luck. Is there a difference between shove and your standard melee attack??

finally picked this game up...and love it!

not many people on my friend list are playing it so if anyone doesn't mind adding me or vice versa, i'm up for some multiplayer

I got clean kill by meleeing him, then stepping back about 3 steps and shotgunning him. No one got hit by the explosion and I got the achievement.

Think i was thinking the "splashing" was him puking, not him blowing up. So there is no trick to this one, just a case of dumbass on my part.

Yeah i popped into your game at the end of it. It was really strange though - it had me as a spectator and nothing i could do would let me actually join the game even though the team i was on only had 3 humans. :(

That's weird, doesn't the AI take over or does that only occur in the Campaign?

I had a horrible L4D Vs. session the other night. Two times a Tank showed up completely unannounced by the normally accompanying musical cue and during one whole level one of my teammates was just a floating gun. His character model was completely invisible. WTF?

That being said.......IT WAS STILL STUPID AWESOME FUN! :lol:

That happened to me in a single player game the other day. I was doing a speed run through Blood Harvest, and had just started the leg of the campaign with the barn when I ran literally right into him. He was just standing there once I got to the clearing. It took me a second to realize I was getting pounded by a Tank and not just a regular zombie. Luckily I made it back to the safe house (like I said, it wasn't far into the level) and used my health pack before he finished me off.

One of ours magically appeared in a stairwell in front of the dude in front. It was the most non-awesome thing ever. :(

Hey Robo and Groucho and any one else that wants to.... We gotta start playing expert mode. That should be crazy fun or fustrating to all hell. Either way I'm sure we will laugh a lot.

I was playing Death Toll with some randoms and you know those little buildings that are like Brick Tool Sheds that are throughout certain levels? Well this player ran up to check for ammo and health and a Tank was standing in there waiting. It seemed like there was just enough room for the tank to fit :lol: As soon as the door opened the Tank turned, ran out, and proceeded to tear us all a new one.
