There's gotta be a limit right, since anybody can just rent games and save them instead of buying them.

All the PS1/PSN games you download are at a cost (some free, like GT4 and some Starter Packs). Still no demos of PSN/PS1 games (like the 360 XBLA). Since I never owned a PS1, this is the biggest drawback for me. I would like to TRY some of those games, but I won't pay for that without a taste first. XBLA has spoiled me.

Also, the controls seemed a little sluggish. I recently played and beat God of War for the first time this past week, so I suppose I was expecting Heavenly Sword to play somewhat similarly. I really wanted to enjoy the demo, so that perhaps it would give me something to look forward to, but I just didn't have any fun with it. I'm sure the full version will be better, but I'm not nearly as excited about it anymore.

I have my PS3 and HD-A2 both hooked up to my Sony 46E2000 thru HDMI. Then I have optical out on the TV to my Onkyo receiver. The problem is when I play a movie on the HD-A2 my receiver isn't very loud. It sounds a lot different than when I have the optical going directly from the receiver to the HD-A2. The PS3 is the same way. Is the optical out on the Sony just a pass thru or am I losing something by using it?
How do you have your PS3 hooked up? Optical directly to receiver?

I have the digital audio going directly to my receiver so I can have everything on a separate receiver input.

You can use the right analog stick and she will dive in the direction you point it to. Blocking is automatic, however there is no blocking in the range stance. Also you can only block the orange attacks in the heavy stance.

When I initiall had mine use HDMI to the TV then coax from the tv to receiver, nothing came out in DD - it was all pro-logic. Swapped to use optical straight from the ps3 and it allowed other types (DTS, DD, etc)

Ok that must be the problem because my receiver doesn't say DTS, DD unless the audio is directly connected. That sucks.

I've got a stupid question: how do I download stuff from the PS3 webpage? I open the PS3 browser, it takes me to the Playstation Portal Page. I can click on "Demos" and then hover over the demos. How do actually download the demo or video that I'm hovering over. I've pushed every key on the controller and nothing happens (besides asking if I want to leave or reload the page). Please help. I feel like an idiot.

I suppose this means you can't download from the internet browser then. Seems counterintuitive. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

EGM supposedly gave Lair a 6.0, 5.5, 5.0.
It wasn't a good month for the big releases, in terms of EGM reviews:
Lair: 6.0, 5.5, 5.0
Blue Dragon: 6.5, 7.5, 6.5
Guitar Hero 80s: 7.5, 6.0, 6.0
Mario Strikers: 7.5, 7.5, 7.5

The videos of Lair just reminded me too much of the last GameCube Star Wars game I hated from them with a Dragon instead of an Xwing. This was a no buy for me, but the 6.0 pretty much cements it. Once again a developer leaves Nintendo and falls flat on their face.
The problem with Guitar Hero 80s is a mediocre song list and a $50 price tag.
I still want to play Blue Dragon though.
