I have a little of everything. But I have virtually zero interest in racing or sports games. My wife likes racing games though so we have Gran Tourismo 3, Sega GT somethingorother / JSRF, and a PS1 Wipeout game. We also had EA's NHL 2000 for PSone but I think I tossed it.
I don't like 3D platforming either. As close as I get to that is my beloved Maximo. But the wife has Jak & Daxter and a few others, I have Maximo & Maximo: Army of Zin. I have only 2 console FPS games (one of them being the 3rd person Gears of War) but a fair handful of them on the PC.
My collection is RPG heavy but I rarely play many of them these days - not enough time. I've been weeding out a lot of games and selling/ebaying them. I've also been weeding out my formerly large collection of fighting games as I don't have anyone to play them with, but I've still got a few: Marvel vs Capcom, Tekken Tag, SF Anniversary, etc.
Other than the general lack of many racing or sports games I have a little of everything and a bit of every generation back to the 8-bit NES.

Though I don't necessarily consciously choose a specific genre or attempt to get variety, I do have a fair mix overall.
Not a big fan of RPG, but still have some of them. HATE point and click games, yet still own at least one.
Quite a few of my games were purchased in lots, though, so I really had no control over all the titles.

But what about the rest of yous guys?
