I'm getting hyped. I decided to go ahead and pre order the game, I wasn't going to before. I paid for it in full at gamestop, and am contemplating going for the midnight launch. If my friend will come with me then I'll definately go. Tonight I'm going to start playing Halo 1, to get some practice time in.

Yeah, the hype is getting to me too. Honestly, I don't know if I'll be able to stay away from Wal-Mart at midnight for this. I can stay away for about anything else though. ;)

I paid off my Legendary set pre-order a couple of days ago. The guy at gamestop said they were expecting about 250 just at his store at midnight. I'll wait till Tuesday to pick mine up. I've waited this long a few more hours will not matter too me.

The guy at my gamestop said there will be a big line, but that i could show up at 10 because there will be a halo 3 tournament. Pizza hut and army hummers would be there too he said.

I saw that ad last night and thought it was pretty cool, and was ok with the music because I think it fit both ads quite well.

yeah, the first 20 seconds or so are great up to the triple weilding and 90 player matches, but it's all downhill from there.

If it's anything like Halo 2's launch there was, it'll be a complete disaster, and most people won't leave until 1-2AM.

The EB I bought my Halo 2 at did a great job with the release. It was all very quick and painless. We were in and out in no time. The only better midnight launch was that of the 360 and that was a freakin flawless and amazing system they had going.

I did the Best Buy pre-order to get the 1,600 point card for $5. I'm going to pick it up at the store, but they sent an email telling me the card is ready for pickup now.

Does anyone know if I have to pick that up soon or can I just wait until the 25th? I guess the worst thing that could happen is that they put the card back on the shelf and sell out.

I thought you couldn't select pick-up from online orders at BB.
