Getting Updates without online connection (360)

Hello

I've got a friend who has the 360 but doesn't have "any" pc or online connection at this time due to funds and their expecting. He's got the Marvel Ultimate Alliance and it's getting new content. Just how can he get it? Anyway I can download it and burn to DVD or CD or can he take his 360 over somewhere and just connect online?

If you've got a 360 and an internet conenction, probably the easiest thing for him to do is to bring ether a memory card or his hard drive over to your place an download whatever he needs.

That's what I was thinking. Just have him bring over his hard drive.

Wait, won't that cause issues with him being able to play the content on his 360 once he gets the HD back home? Wouldn't it be better to bring the whole thing so the content gets "matched" to his and not the op's?

On this topic, I have a 360 at a location with only dial-up. Is there any way for me to get on xbox live and get games such as Castlevania to my PC and move them to my 360? I assume this cannot be done for copy protection reasons, but I'm a bit lost. I've been waiting for Castlevania (I'm not a hard core gamer, I don't often read about them or post in forums) and now I see it's only an Xbox live offering, and I can't buy it in stores. Any idea how I can get it on my 360?

i'd recommend just taking your hard drive to a friends house, getting a free month or whatever, and just do it there.

Silver members can do everything Gold can except play games online. In other words, you don't need a gold account, or free month to download games.

So memory card would be the easy way but what about doing a LAN connection?

Just have him bring his 360 and hook it up where yours is, download the content, then kick him out and tell him to work so he can have an internet connection.
