Sorry, went back and re-read that and realized I wasn't at all clear. Yeah, if you've unlocked costumes/characters, save after a disconnect, and continue forward, the costumes/characters will be locked, and you won't be able to unlock them on that save file.

I was in Act 2, and have since started over. it sucks.

That does suck. Is it obvious when you've had a disconnect?

In any case, I'm almost done the first time through and will only use a new game save slot from this point on.

I had been waiting for the DLC to finally come out before finishing the game. Now that I've downloaded it, I discover that these heroes and super-villains are all level 1 characters and will get their asses handed to them from the most basic of enemies at this point in the game, let alone bosses. So after I'm done, it's back to the beginning for me.

If anyone is ever in the mood for some arcade games, look me up. It's near impossible to find online games and I'd really like to get those last few achievements . We can use your save if you want, or I'll host and use mine (characters around level 66+ all stuff unlocked). Oz Rosenberg is my gamertag.

Did they fix the issues with the New Character packs?

As far as I know they haven't changed anything, but I never had a problem with any of the updates .

I may take you up on that offer.

Never played arcade though. What should I expect when we play co-op? Would hate to waste your time while I fumbled around with the settings.

Arcade is pretty much the same as story/co-op except there are only as many characters as there are players (so 2 players would mean going through the game with only 2 characters onscreen playing).

Ah, I see.

Also, earlier today I bumped this thread with a question re: 4000 kills. Lo and behold, within minutes of loading my game this afternoon, I scored my 4000th kill for 50 (!) achievement points.

I stuck with one team (Iron Man, Thor, Storm, and the Human Torch - energy wielders and strength) in the last third of the game and they leveled up so high that the last fight was a breeze! I'm still bummed that the character updates are only available for the Xbox version (I have the PS3).

Help! Beat the game on Easy, and we want to now play it on hard, but keep all that we earned and the characters powered up. Plus I thought when you play again you can create a team from the start, yes?

How do I do this? It seems I can either just load my game (which I last saved after defeating Doom, so we could finish the comic missions) or start a new game. When I do that, its back to unpowered Cap, Spidey, Thor and Wolverine.

Playing on the 360. Am I missing some obvious way to play a new game plus what we've earned?

Thanks

Nothing transfers if you beat it on easy.

I discovered that the hard way, too. Thought I was going to breeze through Medium with a near-invincible Wolverine and Iron Man, only to discover that only their costumes were transferrable.

Nothing? You mean the unlocked characters aren't even unlocked anymore? That stinks if that's the case.

Oops. The unlocked characters and costumes are playable after completion of the game on Easy.

I spend WAY too much time on this game.

Anyway, I just unlocked the last costume, which was SUPPOSED to unlock Silver Surfer, but I still don't have him.

Do I need to get bronze in the comic missions on one save? I unlocked many of the costumes on Easy, then the rest on Normal.

Couldn't find an answer to this in the Marvel: UA faqs.

I know I'm asking about the Wii version in what seems to be an X-Box 360 MUA thread, but I have a quick question.

My copy came with a code for an unlockable Daredevil, but it doesn't say where to enter it. Anyone know where? It seems like there are several places you can enter codes.

Not related to the action figures, but I'm stuck in Mephisto's level. I've run into Mephisto, a ton of demons show up and Game FAQs tells me to head toward the top of the screen and go through the portal. When I get there, there is no portal, just a blue flame that I can't jump into. I jump and float there but nothing happens.

Any clues on what I should do?

joe,

I'm pretty sure you should kill a few demons and then try to jump in the portal. I just replayed through this recently and that's what I remember doing. Still got two more runs through before I can get all the achievements. Need to do a run on Hard next with New Game+, so I can keep all my level 70 guys. By the end of that, they're probably all 99 and I can go back through on Easy and do all the comic missions. Still an extremely enjoyable game, even if it is a couple years old.

I'll give that a try. My team is down to Ghost Rider and Thor, and I was just flying up there with Thor. I'll try fighting my way there on foot and seeing what happens.

Thanks.

I wonder when a sequel to this magnigficent game will come. This is one game that really deserves a sequel.
