Hmm, kurupt, hadn't even thought about any Sierra games on the VC. That could be very cool, especially if it could do away with those long load times.

Man, this thread is actually making me want to find my old Apple IIC and games; I had some great ones. And yes, I realize this is really dating me.

Clearly the PS2 list needed two GTA games. Because one just wasn't enough, and there aren't any other good games on the system.

They both look good. Wonder if my computer can handle them. I see that Alan Wake is also coming to the 360.

Well you have to remember that each console list was compiled by different editors. Plus BG&E is not the only multiplatform game that appears on the list. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and NBA Street v.2 appear on the PS2 list, but are nowhere to be found on the Xbox/GC lists.

Also, I think BG&E was written for Gamecube and ported to the other systems. I remember reading comparison reviews that complained about some problems with the PS2 version, so I picked it up for Gamecube. Don't know about the quality of the Xbox version.

Both are going to be released on the 360 and the PC (Alan Wake is going to be released on Vista only -- no XP version).

So I'm kinda happy. I got my PS2 working again. It was working, but poorly. I would constantly get "Disc Read Error"s. It was getting frustrated. Even new games I would have to reset and take the disc out and put it back in again. Most DVD movies wouldn't read or would skip or stop.

I pretty much gave up on the PS2 and wasn't interested in playing/renting/buying any new games.

Well I did a Google search and found a good fix from ArsTechnica. I was worried because it involved opening up the machine but I figured I had little to lose. Now my PS2 seems to be reading things fine. Maybe I'll finally pick up Okami.

Beaten 7 of 25 PS2 games, have 16 of the 25.
Beaten 12 of 25 XBOX games, have 19 of the 25.
Beaten 11 of 25 GCN games, have 22 of the 25.
Beaten 0 of 25 GBA games, have 6 of the 25.....OUCH
Beaten 5 of 25 PC games, have 11 of the 25

Still a lot to get through of the best games on each system. Some games I have played but not beaten, and I counted some games like Sim City 2000 and the Sims that I played to death, but never really "beat".

Yeah this forum has always censored "m-city". Do a search for Sim City and you will see countless censoring. You know this is a crazy forum when fuck is not censored but m-city is.
