I'm playing the gamecube one (Thousand Year Door) and it's a lot of fun. I played most of the N64 one and loved that as well. I hope the new one comes correct.

I'm so glad the rumors turned out to be true. Sega's 'NiGHTS' returns on the Wii! :D

 -other-
This better not be an early April Fool's joke!!! This was one of my favorite games for the Saturn (and my first exposure to analog control). It would make a perfect fit on the Wii, that's for sure. It better be Wii-mote controlled !! Article mentions Wii Exclusive, some sort of online component and 2 player modes. |
Sonic Team USA is developing the project. |
EGM review scores:

I do turn it on at least every couple days, my wife and I have been playing WarioWare, and we and my boy have been playing bowling on Wii Sports a good bit.

So...twice in the past 3 days, the Wii has completely frozen - once during Wii Sports Tennis (and I was pissing on a 2000 and 1900 pro, en route to my own 1700 ranking), and once while playing the GC version of Soul Calibur II. I swear, it freezes like the old 8-bit NES - stuff scrambled and it just emitted a machine-generated buzz tone.
I'm wondering if I should be worried, or if these are isolated incidents that just happened to occur in a short time span... |
The only time my Wii has frozen was playing Zelda (I think I had a scratch.. told me it couldn't read the disc) and a couple times trying to view videos on the browser. So.. probably about 3-4 times total in about 2 months time
|
my wii will not freeze up when i click on the mii channel. The screen goes black for 2-3 minutes, but eventually my mii's will pop up. This usually only happens if I don't use the wii for a week or two. Maybe it's not freezing up and just collecting data or fillin up my mii parade or something???

Is this a known problem with Zelda, with the Wii, or should I be concerned that I just have a faulty system? |

When I get that, I just turn of my wii, reset my router, power the router back up and then turn the Wii on and it will connect normally without the long black screens after that. It's a common problem (and solution) that I've seen around the net. It's apparently just a networking issue. |
Thanks for the tip. I have that problem every once in a while as well.

600 for a NES game and 1000 points for Starfox with no rumble support. No thanks.
|
These prices are going the wrong way.
|
Yeah, for 300-400 points, I would've considered TMNT. But for 600? Fuck you!
Thing is though, it'll sell. Since people are dumb, and they're dealing with "points" instead of dollars, it won't seem like the rip-off it is. |
Eh...$6 for a NES game isn't a ripoff to me. I mean...it's 6 friggin' dollars.
|
I got all my points at 75% <s>off</s>of-cost thanks to best buy coupons, but it's just the principle of the thing to me. I can't condone this pricing even if it covers licensing fees. Nintendo should eat that (or Konami).
I'd have got it for 500 points, but I can't support it for 600 even if the difference seems negligible. |

the only VC games that interest me are N64 games, and even then...

I hope sales of the few higher priced titles are drastically lower. I'd also like to see the prices move in the other direction. It would even be nice if, like retail games, the prices lowered over time. Full price at release, then lowered at regular intervals.
