When we camped out to buy Wiis, we played multi-player single cart Meteos and Puyo Pop Fever. I MUCH MUCH MUCH preferred Puyo Pop Fever to Meteos. I just didn't like it nearly as much.

It was the first time I had played either, against two of my brothers that are very experienced at it. Mainly it was a fight for 3rd place with the occasional 2nd w/ another guy bringing up the rear mainly.

yea, thats the thing about meteos
It has such a steep learning curve that, until you get passed that hump, you won't like it.
I will say, having played a sh!t-load of puzzle type games, Meteos still ranks extremely high. After you get the niche of the game down, there is nothing more rewarding than comboing your entire screen and blasting it into outter space, where it rains down on your opponent like so many shards of glass, causing their stack to crumble and fall
MWAHAHAHHAHA!!!

I would kill for a good version of Super Puzzle Fighter on the DS. That was was my favorite puzzle game that my wife and i played on the PC (and Dreamcast) constantly.

xmiyux play through Trace Memory just cause it's a damn cool game. It's made by the same people and there are references to TM in Hotel Dusk. I wasn't saying it was a sequel when we were talking about that but more like the developers building on a great concept.
I'm having a blast with Phoenix Wright 2 as well right now.

The only RPG I've been playing on DS is FFIII, which is spectacular, supposing that you are a fan of random battles and a slightly higher level of difficulty than the standard.
