i really can't see that changing in the next 6 months, though

I would just want them to convert to marketplace points. That's the way it should have been from the beginning.

games can and do ruin the online aspect of some games. If that happens now with the points being meaningless, imagine what would happen if you gave them value. While the thought of having them be worth things like arcade games is tempting, I don't think the tradeoff would be worth it. |
yea, but I really can't see M$ having you pay for an arcade title on LIVE (400-800pts) and have you get even a 1/3rd of those points back from playing/beating the game.
Its a fanciful idea, sure, but I can't see it happening |
They should make the achievements valuable but within the game you're playing--If you get x amount of achievement points in GOW then you can download a new map
|
I really can't see games like CoD3 NOT charging points for their map packs. They know everyone who plays the game is going to get the map pack, and I really can't see them NOT charging you money for those maps

What I want to avoid at all costs:
Keying in Mtn Dew cap codes like 25T66-6463M4-7PD2367-26X8B69-827U673M56 one after the other to see if you've 'won' a free map. |

And last night I was getting 1.4-1.8 Megabyte/sec download speeds, my internet is blazing. |

New announcement on upcoming Live Arcade titles.

Any pricing news on Castlevania yet?

I don't see where anyone says they can stream HD movies. They say they think they were able to. Shows, sometimes, but not HD movies. In fact upon calling support for my money back. Technician states streaming may not be avaible for 720p content. And yes, I was credited points in full. and I am done with that nightmare of a service. |

Quick question -- I accidentally started playing Oblivion with the wrong Gamertag. Is there any way to transfer my save over, or do I have to start from scratch?

I have 750 or 760 points out of CoD2. If i got all 1000 for beating it on veteran i would also be pretty proud of that "achievement." It was a really difficult game on that level. All the secret achievements also encouraged me to explore Viva Pinata a good deal more than i probably would have otherwise.
