On the PS2 you have to control it with the right stick pretty much constantly. Obviously that won't be an option on the Wii since there is no right stick. It was my number 3 game of last year (behind Zelda and Gears) so I'd kill for a sequel. Unfortunately, the guys who did it I believe have broken away from Capcom after Clover was dissolved (see Pixy's thread on Clover) so Capcom would likely muck up the sequel. :( |
Yeah, I wouldn't trust Capcom with a sequel, but they should be able to handle a port. I haven't played Okami yet so I'll let this rumor boil and be squashed (or confirmed) before trying to get it for the PS2.

I would rape and murder everyone on this board for a good version of Okami on the Wii.

Channels are not too bad. Don't really use the Internet channel but i'm not going to complain considering they were all free.

Hate lugging my DS to the store and the damn things there aren't working half the time anyway. |

The "Where's the Mii?" game in Wii Play is SOOOO much easier with the custom mii's you guys have sent! Instead of trying to look at distinguishing features I can just say "OK there's Velma, and Dr. McSteamy..."
The pool game is actually fun too. Wish it included more versions. Sam |
Is there anyway to move the channels around on the main screen?
|
A + B button on the channel and just drag it.

Anyone else having trouble downloading the latest update? My internet connection is fine (I can use the browser, weather and news channel). For whatever reason, it gets to the download page and then gets stuck. The bar moved maybe 1/8 of the way across then just sits there (waited for about 15 minutes).

I use the Wii internet browser t check my stocks, read email and check joystiq all the time. A lot faster thenn booting the laptop.

So I finally picked up a classic controller (been waiting to see one at BB to use the GGC). What is that little button in the middle of the top? I don't remember it being discussed. It seems to be some kind of release for an attachment point. Anyone know or can speculate what it's for?

Possibly a "z" button?

It doubles as a belt buckle. |
Enjoying Wii Play. Is there a place that I can go to other than FamousMii.com to get instructions on making celeb Mii's? Please, no video links. Those grainy break-neck speed YouTube video instructionals are annoying.

I'm really excited to see how Fight Night will pan out on the Wii
I really don't care if they make a new one, I just hope they take the enjoyment I got from the 360 version and have some amazing, realistic controls wow, a game for Wii that actually excites me |
Been looking for Wii Points cards at BB for a while now, well today was my day!
Wife's co-worker bought a Wii over the weekend and called my this morning from BB asking what kind of memory card he needed to play GC games. Informed me they had 4 Wii Points cards there. He was at the 2nd furthest BB from me, but I asked him to have the CS desk hold them for me. I was already out running errands, so I decided to stop by my local BB. They had 5 cards, just the same number of GGC coupons in my wallet. So I bought all of those, used a $10 RZ cert and a GC I got for Christmas that still had $39.16 on it. Got 4 more GGCs there and made my way down to the other BB for the other 4. All told, I picked up 9 cards, each with a $5 off GGC coupon. $14.99 * 9 = $134.91 - $10 RZ = $124.91 * 1.08517 (tax) = $135.55 - $39.16 = $96.39 out of pocket! 18,000 points for less than I can get 10,000 from inside the console. That should last me a while! Of course, this is after I broke down and bought 2,000 through the console on Saturday  So, check your local BBs if you're looking. Because even at $15 + tax, it is still a much better deal than you're bound to find elsewhere, especially in a mass purchase. |
Assuming you can find the GGCs, I haven't seen them for a while and some posts on CAG have said employees have reported that they have thrown them out and they were being discontinued.

I guess they could just use the motion for a jab, and then you get different types of punches by punching while holding down a certain button (or buttons) on the nunchuck/wiimote to do hooks, upcuts etc. rather than having them dependent on the type of motion you use to be more accurate. i.e. you could punch and hold B to do an uppercut and it wouldn't matter whether you just jabbed or did an uppercut motion (though of course it would be more fun to do the real motions regardless) |
I need to stock up on these. The local BB still has the GGCs so I will probably go and buy a few cards for $5 each or something and hoard them. The extra $5 off is nice. $3.75 for NES games is a bit closer to a value I can live with.

I personally don't like Wii boxing |
