same here, I wanted to like this game so much, the videos looked awesome. I was hoping for more platforming, but too much talking, boring story, too much flipping 3d-2d, which was neat at first, but it becomes a gimmick, The few actual platforming levels, are over too quick, or dont feel like mario. Huge disapoitment,

I am playing Half Life 2: episode 1, God of War

Just finished Rainbow Six: Vegas (360) and what a game. Well worth it! I hate to say but it was my first RS game and won't be my last after playing this one. Great story line, the AI was right on, top notch visuals and the city of Vegas looked simply amazing. I can see why it was given high reviews. I haven't tried MP or co-op yet but can't wait till the follow up to this one.

I just got my Wii, so I'm playing Wii Sports and Super Paper Mario. I plan on picking up Zelda: TP, Mario Party 8, maybe Excite Truck, and when it is available I really want Blaster Master on the VC.

I also throw in GTA: San Andreas from time to time.

My DS has also been getting tons of playtime with various games here and there.

Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (PC)- I had started this a while ago and got far then just moved on. I finally got back into it and finished while my 360 was in for service. Great game, amazing amount of content for an expansion (especially with the free bonus downloadable orc campaigns). Blizzard just puts together the most polished games around IMO.

Sonic Rush (DS) - Meh, I had read this was one of the better recent Sonic games, but I found it tedious. The problem is Sonic is meant to go really fast, but there are parts where you will fall off and die if you don't hit the jumps right while moving too fast to see anything. Sonic could really use POP style rewind IMO. It would really balance the trial and error gameplay.

Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime (DS) - At first I thought it was somewhat bland, but once I started the tank battles I was hooked. I think the majority of the adventure game was just okay, but the tank battles make the game. I beat this in a couple days.

Currently Playing

Far Cry Instincts Predator (360) - The game gets better with the powers, but I have found this game pretty difficult. I think I just hate the controller for FPS's. It doesn't measure up to the PC game.

Project Gotham Racing 3 (360) - This hasn't done much for me, it is also starting to feel overrated in my book. Maybe it just isn't the type of racer for me, but it feels somewhat bland to be doing cone challenges instead of the nerve-racking races in Burnout Revenge.

Metroid Prime Hunters (DS) - The controls really cramp my hands, doesn't feel natural to me. I also don't know if a 3d metroid prime on a handheld is a good fit. The game is okay but it needs more varied bosses.

Kind of Playing
Call of Cthulhu (PC) - I just need to get back to this one.

On Deck
Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (360)
Company of Heroes (PC)

For June:

Recently finished:
Crackdown: Download Content - awesome, awsome stuff. Well worth $10. Only missing 2 Agility orbs for total completion. Doubt I will waste much more time looking for them.

Now Playing:
Pac-Man: Championship Edition - got the 200 points in the first 90 minutes, but can already tell this is going to be one of my most played games on the system.

Dead Rising: Went back to clean up unfinished achievements. Only have 5 left but a few are totally unrealistic and probably won't be happening.

Yoshi's Island(GBA): Never played this one before, it's pretty fun. The difficulty is a nice change of pace after playing Super Princess Peach.

On Deck:
Gears of War: Still haven't finished the game, on easy. Got to act 4 and just tired of it. Definitely need to finish.

Super Paper Mario: I'm in between world 6 and 7. Just a matter of finishing it up.

Manhunt: Just picked this one up cheap and wanted to check it out before part 2 comes out.

Resident Evil 4(Wii): Never played it before. Looking forward to it.

Far Cry Instincts Predator (360) - Instincts got somewhat old after a while I ran through some parts to get to the next checkpoint, although that might have been intended. I thought the second game, Evolution, had much better level design and more open sections like the original PC game.

Metroid Prime Hunters (DS) - Didn't measure up to the recent console games, the controls were uncomfortable.

Currently Playing

Project Gotham Racing 3 (360) - Still working on this

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (360) - Just started.

Kind of Playing
Call of Cthulhu (PC) - I just need to get back to this one.

Recently finished the following:

Gears of War (on Normal, Hardcore and Insane)

Earth Defense Force 2017 (on Easy, Normal and Hard) - Hardest and Inferno are out of the question unless I can farm more weapons and co-op

Scurge: Hive (DS), fun little isometric Metroid like platformer.
Since my last posting, I have finished:

Crackdown Fun game but wore thin toward the end. I didn't bother to find all the orbs just for achievements, as it seems painfully tedious for me. Good co-op game though.

Call of Duty 2 Late to the party since I just got the 360 in late April. Good game but I am sick of WW2 setting.

Virtua Tennis 3 Got the #1 ranking (and the credits) in the PSP version, but you can continue to play indefinitely. It was alot of fun and very addictive.

Recently Finished:

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (DS): This was a rental. Fun little game. It's on the short side, and some of the mini-games were too repetitive, but the card battling aspect worked well.

Daxter (PSP): Great platformer for the PSP. I picked it up after the price drop and enjoyed it the whole way through.

Currently Playing:

Puzzle Quest (DS): After a break, I'm back into this again. I think my character is at level 25, and I'm at the part where you're gathering pieces of Sartek.

Pokemon Diamond (DS): Another game that I took a break from and just started back into. Right now I'm leveling up for the fifth badge fight.

Crush (PSP): This is an excellent action/puzzle game. Really enjoying it.

Warriors (PSP): Lost interest in this one for a while, but I'm about 2/3 of the way through it so I'd like to finish it.

Mario's Picross (Game Boy): I picked this up in anticipation of Picross DS. Great game to play when you only have a few minutes to spare.

Halo 2 (Xbox): Trying to get through the campaign before Halo 3 is released. I'm having a better time with it than I did with the first game. I gave up on that one pretty early on.

Chromehounds (360): I'm working through bits and pieces of the single player mode here and there as well as playing the online mode. I'm not a huge fan of mech games but I like the gameplay mechanics in this one.

Forza 2 (360): I haven't been able to put as much time into this as I'd like. Once I knock a few more games off of this list I'll jump back in.

Prince of Persia Classic (XBLA): I never beat the original so I like that they made this version a bit easier. I'm close to finishing it.

Big Brain Academy (Wii): Gamefly rental. Fun, but seems a little shallow.

Godfather (Wii): Another rental. Pretty cool game.

Mario Party 8 (Wii): I haven't played many of the Mario Party games, but I'm enjoying this one so far.

If you liked Chrome Hounds at all

I'd highly recommend Armored Core 4, especially since it goes for like 25 on ebay

As a counter to that Gramps i would say i loved Chromehounds but hated Armored Core. Pretty different styles of the mech genre imo.

What I like about Chromehounds is the different roles/mech types and how they work together in the multiplayer mode. I love just about any game with multiplayer that focuses on cooperation and teamwork. Armored Core 4 seemed more actiony, with the multiplayer more of a deathmatch than a coop experience. I might rent it, but one mech game is enough for me right now.

And as you can see by my list, the last thing I need now is another new game.

Just beat:

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Really enjoyed it, though the last case seemed to go on for ages. The ending is surprisingly touching too, even moreso than Episode 4. Finishing the game proper seemed tinged with sadness Its a shame it has no real replay value.

Just finished Resistance: FOM. I thought it was a great game. I really look forward to playing through again with the new weapons.

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy VII, and I'm plaining on picking up Nija Gaiden Sigma this week.
