Full Auto (360) - All Full Auto medals. I liked this game despite it's flaws (bugs and a bad framerate), but I am a sucker for car combat games.

Hulk Ultimate Destruction (XBOX) This game was great, it's a blast just smashing things with the Hulk, I played for 5 hours straight which is rare for me.

Doom 3 ROE (PC) - Don't waste your time, I don't know why I wasted mine. It's pretty much the same as the original Doom 3.

Castlevania Portrait of Ruin - I liked Dawn of Sorrow more because I preferred the stealing of souls aspect. But I love the metroidvanias, can't get enough. Can't wait for Symphony of the Night for XBLA.

King Kong (360) - Had already played it on the GC but played through for the 360, didn't enjoy it as much my second time through.

Table Tennis (360) - Been addicted to this game for the past few days, but finally beat it on All-Star. I'm actually going for some acheivements and playing online.

Kirby Canvas Curse (DS) - Beat the story and a lot of time trials and subgames, but even at only 35% I am done collecting things. Enjoyed the game though, a lot of fun

Currently Playing
Phoenix Wright - And Justice for All (DS) - Playing a little bit each night, I miss the DS elements they added in the first game. It's decent enough but the formula is getting repetitive.

Call of Cthulhu (PC) - Still Working through this, I enjoy it, but I find stealthy parts to it tedious.

Armed and Dangerous (PC) - Current mindless game.

Perfect Dark Zero (360) - Finished a few more levels, I can't beleive this has a higher gameranking than Kameo, this game is just boring IMO. I will finish it because it short, but I have no desire to play other game modes or complete secondary objectives.

On Deck
Splinter Cell: Double Agent (360)
The Outfit (360)
The Warriors (XBOX)
Sonic Rush (DS)
Super Princess Peach (DS)

I just beat Crackdown last night, but not done playing it by any stretch

I just started playing about 10 different PSP games (MGS PO, Tekken DR, Spectral Souls, Killzone)

It's daunting the amount of new titles I have to play. Its amazing if I even get to finish a game

Currently Playing:

- Zelda: A Link To The Past - Wii VC - I played through and beat this game a year or two after it came out, but never owned it. Playing it again now, I can see why it's considered one of the best SNES games ever. It still looks and plays great today without any enhancement, and is so much fun.

- Company of Heroes - PC - A great strategy game. I like it a lot better than Age of Empires and similar games. My biggest complaint is my own damn computer. I can't really play multiplayer because it takes me about 5 minutes to load a map, which means people generally drop by the time I load. Sad, but true. Single player is a lot of fun though, but a bit easy in my opinion.

- Timesplitters - XBox - I had shelved this game after playing through the first level, and thought it was pretty poor, even for a $5 purchase. But now going back and playing it again this weekend, it was pretty fun, and the bonus modes like the zombie monkeys are awesome.

- MVP Baseball 2005 & ESPN NFL 2k5 - XBox - Where have all the good sports games gone?

Recently Finished:

- Rouge Squadron II - Gamecube

Temporary Shelving:

- Zelda: Twilight Princess - Wii - I dunno, I'm on like the 5th or 6th dungeon, but i just can't muster the energy to load it up and start swinging my Wiimote around like a sword. I've resorted to LTTP for my Zelda-ing, mainly because I'm too lazy. That and the dungeons require lengthy playtimes, which I don't have.

- Trauma Center - Wii - This game is just tough, and I get easily fustrated. I'll go back to it, but I just haven't been inspired to play it.

- Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption - PC - I dunno, the third faction kinda ruined the game for me. That and the land battles. I was really excited to nab the expansion for $16 on sale, but it's turning out to be collecting dust on my shelf. Eventually I'll try and play through the campaign.

- Burnout 3 - XBox - I have to get 2 more golds to get every gold in the game. Of course, they're the two toughest golds in the game to get. I have to get back into playing before I can even attempt them.

Shelved For Good:

- Starfox Command DS - I loved the original Starfox, but this game, and its awful controls seem really contrived for the DS.

- Animal Crossing DS - I dunno, I played it a bit, but it became more of a chore than anything. I wasn't really having fun after about a month, so I haven't played it a while. Actually, I haven't booted up my DS in about a month. I probably could use another good DS game.

Congrats.

You must be awesome because although I love the game more than most around here I admit it's frustrating as hell. I can't even imagine what it's like to play on All-Star.

I played with Liu Ping. A hint that helped with some computer players. If you get pretty far to either side of the table, just at the light/shadow edge and serve the ball with spin so it goes as far to the opposite side of the table, you can ace many of the computer oponents almost every time. It's a tough spot to find though, because if you go to far to the side of the table you will fault. It didn't work on Jung Soo and Mark, and a couple others.

The Dark Alliance series was a piece of shit. I haven't seen anyone that actually liked those games.

The PC Baldur's Gate games are the REAL Baldur's Gate games. They were made first (ie the DA series is a spin-off). The PC games were made by Bioware, probably the best western style RPG developer IMO. The DA series were made by some other company that I can't even remember. DA is a hack-n-slash action game with very few RPG elements tacked on. The PC games are actual RPGs.

I agree that Baldur's Gate is better than both Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights. Icewind Dale, while it uses the BG Infinity Engine, was made by a different developer and just lacks the Bioware charm. Neverwinter Nights is ok, but no where near as good as BG.

I would say start with the first BG game. It is easier than BG2. Plus, BG2 starts immediately after the ending of BG1 and you can import your character from BG1 to BG2, so it is just like one really long story.

I agree. The lack of a scary atmosphere is the only thing that I did not like about RE4. RE4 was really good, but it did not "feel" like an RE game. I really hope Capcom goes back to "survival horror" for RE5 instead of an "action" game.

I noticed you said you just played through FEAR on the PC. Have you played Condemned? It was made by the same developer, and it is VERY scary. I highly recommend Condemned if you haven't tried it yet.

Resident Evil 4 (GC)- still liking it but not loving it. On chapter 3, trying to stick with it.

Big Brain Academy (DS)-picked it up for $13.99 at Circuit City today, tried all the games. Seems like it will be fun for a while. More variety than Brain Age, and I like that you can work for high scores any time, rather than just once a day.

Super Mario World (Wii VC)- just as much fun as it was the other gazillion times I've played through it. Even figured out how to open up a couple things earlier than I had in the past--despite beating it with full completion probably at least 10 times over the years.

Super Castlevania IV (Wii VC)- Only played a bit, stopped at the start of the 3rd level. Enjoying it, but not blown away. Definitely reminding me of why I was not a huge fan until Symphony of the Night and the shift to "Metroidvania."

Recently Finished

Gears of War: my buddy and I plowed through the campaign on hardcore in co-op in a 13 hour all nighter last weekend. Great game. Doubt I'll fuck with Insane with him though as pissed off as we were getting in places on hardcore.

Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime: Got all 100 slimes, and won the tank masters side game, took about 15 1/2 hours. Very enjoyable game, but not a classic. A solid 8/10 game though, and definitely worth the $16.96 it's going for a Circuit City now.

God of War- Finished it in just under 10 hours. Was super pissed that I accidentally switched from Normal to Easy without noticing but I still died a ton since that didn't affect the instant death traps etc. Overall I liked the game, but not as much as some. Probably a 8/10 for me.

Guitar Hero I & II- 5 starred all songs on easy, beat all songs on medium including all the bonus tracks in both games. Will pick it up again and piddle with 5 starring medium and trying hard, but in no rush and need a break from the game.

FEAR-Extraction Point- short but awesome. Much creepier/scarier than the main game, especially the hospital level. That was some fucked up shit.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin- finished sister mode, after getting the true ending in the main game. Gave up at the 2 creatures portion of Nest of Evil in regular mode. Doubt I'll bother with Richter and Maria mode.

FEAR (PC)- Pretty sweet game, enjoyed it even though I'm not a big PC gamer or FPS fan. Knocked it down to easy from level 4 on though, as I suck at PC FPS controls.

Yoshi's Island DS- Beat it and traded it without bothering with the extra stuff. Pretty dissapointed with the generic level design and cheap deaths. A far cry from the classic original.

Zelda: Twilight Princess- though want to play some more to get some of the stuff I missed, don't know when I'll get to it.

On Deck

Shadow of the Colossus (PS2)--picked it up for $14.99 at Target today.

Zelda: A Link to the Past (Wii VC)

Super Paper Mario (Wii)- looks to be my first Wii game purchase since Zelda at launch!

Stack of PC games my friend lent me-Half Life 2, Quake IV, some RPGs (Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale 2, Torment), Civilization IV

Shelved for good

Call of Duty (PC)-just not my cup of tea. Too much of a generic FPS for me. Takes an FPS with an extra "something"--like FEAR--to hold my interest.

Just Cause (360) - The environments are massive and it's a blast to take a helicopter through them, then parachute down. But aside from the main story the rest of the side missions were tedious and repetitive.

Ninety-Nine Nights (360) - I beat it with all the characters, not too impressed. I actually like Dynasty Warriors games, even though they are repetitive. This has some of the worst voice acting ever.

Crackdown (360) - I just beat the main game, although really Crackdown is a whole lot more than just the story. I will probably come back and get some more orbs and level up driving and shooting for my character. At first I was obsessed with agility orbs, but I don't think I have the patience to find every last agility orb.

Currently Playing
Phoenix Wright - And Justice for All (DS) - Still working my way through the last case.

Saint's Row (360) Just started this, so far it's a lot of fun. Little things like the brilliant waypoint system just make the game that much better.

Kind of Playing
Call of Cthulhu (PC) - I just need to get back to this one.

Armed and Dangerous (PC) - Same here.

Perfect Dark Zero (360) - I'll play another couple levels at some point.

The Outfit (360)

Crackdown - yeah there is more to the game than the story, but I have 720 with 6 achievements left. So it is more or less complete in my mind. Two of those 6 are the orb achievements which will take quite a bit of time. Along with the stunt rings one. The other 3 shouldn't be a problem.

Lego Star Wars II - what a collect-a-thon. Fun but definitely more challenging than a first glance would have you believe.

Now Playing
Worms HD - On challenge 19 of 20 for one Achievement, and only have to get into a 4 player online match to finish up these 200 points. Great game. Well worth $10 and I've only played a handful of matches online so far.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - 50% complete. My first Metroidvania. I like it, but unlike Josh I miss the whip and the linear style of SCIV. The nickname fits as it seems more like Metroid than Castlevania.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 - 50% complete. Fun game but not very challenging. Seems like every level introduces a new element but never really blows your mind with the challenge of the level. Silver stars on everything so far. A decent Lemmings placeholder.

Sonic & the Secret Rings - 3rd level in. Having to complete these side missions to open up further levels is a pain in the ass. It is definitely a challenging game though.

Kid Icarus - sitting on the last level of this one, just have to boot it up one more time to finish this classic. A revival of the franchise is definitely in order whether it be DS or Wii. I'm open for either.

The Eternal Deck
Zelda: Twilight Princess - Close to the third dungeon and I can't force myself to pick it back up. Having to dedicate 1-2 hour chunks at a time is killing it for me.

Gears of War - Once the hype and newness wore off, I remain halfway through Act 4 on the default difficulty. Not bad by any means, just found more fun in other games and moved on.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent - 50% done with the main game. Like GoW, good game, just moved on to other titles.

I'm doing a lot of starting games, but not a lot of finishing. I'm more in a movie watching mode right now. Here is what I've sort of been playing.

Now Playing
Lunar Knights (off and on)
Super Robot Taisen OG (almost done)
Castlevania Sympony of the Night
God of War (yep, I had never played it)

Recently finished
Sam and Max chapter 4
Flow (done with this one for awhile)
Wii Sports (kind of burned out on this one as well)
Tecmo Bowl (played through a few seasons and will pick it up again from time to time)

Up Next
Sam and Max chapter 5
Puzzle Quest on the DS (loved the demo)

According to Gamerankings.com, the PS2 version of Dark Alliance got an 84% and the Xbox version of Dark Alliance got an 83%. Those reviews are good, but not fantastic like you say. In comparison, the REAL Baldur's Gate games on PC got much better reviews. Baldur's Gate on the PC got a 93% and Baldur's Gate 2 got a 94%.

I say the PC games are the REAL Baldur's Gate games because they are the originals and they are actual D&D RPGs that use the D&D ruleset faithfully. The console games are as different as night and day. They are hack-n-slash action games with the Baldur's Gate name and D&D license tacked on merely to increase sales. D&D and Baldur's Gate nerds like myself consider the Dark Alliance series to be incredibly insulting to the D&D/Baldur's Gate name. Go to a D&D nerds site like Sorcerers.net and they have absolutely nothing good to say about Dark Alliance.

Everything I'm playing these days is on the 360 -- a ton of Oblivion, a lot of Crackdown, a little bit of Ultimate Alliance and Lost Planet.

Oblivion I've beaten -- completed the main quest and all of the Guild quests. I've still got a few odds-and-ends quests I'm doing like some of the Daedric Shrine quests and the quest where that guy send you to find ten Ayelid statues for his private collection.

Crackdown, I'm close to beating -- I've got one Shai-Gen underboss to locate, then I have to kill him and the Shai-Gen boss. I've still got a ton of achievements to get, though.

Diddy Kong Racing (N64) - A very good game. People who try to compare it to Mario Kart will be disappointed, because they are MUCH different and aren't meant to be the same. I haven't heard too many good things about the DS version, so I will be sticking with this one.

Goldeneye (N64) - I can see why people say it hasn't aged well, but I still love the single-player mode.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All (DS) - Feels a bit tired after having played through the first on a while back.

Wii Sports (Wii) - Golf is still my favorite. I like tennis a lot too, but it is just too easy now. Bowling is decent, but I think I like Monkey Bowling better. I never really got into boxing. Baseball is just plain bad.

Clubhouse Games (DS) - The AI is very bad for most games, but I still enjoy it. My win percentage in most games is 80% to 100% for most games, which is way too high. I have yet to lose a game of Rummy, Contract Bridge, and a number of others.

Recently Finished
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) - Easily the worst of the 3D Zeldas. Everything outside of the dungeons was not fun. Too little interaction with NPCs, which is what made MM great. A number of the dungeons, especially towards the end, were very uninspiring, and felt like dungeons you'd find in Zelda ripoffs, rather than in actual Zelda games.

Nanostray (DS) - Short and very average. Nothing memorable at all. The enemies were all pretty generic.

TimeSplitters 2 (XBox) - Decent, but desperately needs a way for you to permanently save at checkpoints so that you don't have to start the entire level over if you turn your system off. The level design was better than TimeSplitters Future Perfect, which felt very generic to me.

On Deck
Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat (GC)
LEGO Star Wars II (XBox)

Now playing:

Final Fantasy XII(PS2) - Have nearly 60 hours logged on this game and don't know if I'm even 1/2 way through the game yet. Between playing this, WoW and other games on my limited play time I probably won't have it completed until FFXIII comes out.

World of Warcraft(PC) - Currently playing a Blood Elf Rogue and trying to get 40 so I can get my Chocobo mount. Although, my interest in the game is finally starting to diminish after playing for 2+ years.

MLB 2K7(360) - Pretty good baseball game with awesome graphics. Fielding and camera angles could be better. Still not as good as MVP '05.

Crackdown(360)
- Sweet game. For me it's like a combination of City of Heroes and Grand Theft Auto. Wish I had more time to play it!

Oblivion(360) - Just got this over the weekend and I must say it's nice to play this game at max settings w/o the problems you had on the PC and I much rather play with a controller - although a mouse still has better accuracy than a analog stick. Wish they allowed for custom mods because I still hate level scaling and the loot table in this game is a joke.

Jade Empire(PC) - Got this over the weekend too. Never finished it on the Xbox and thought it would look and play better on the enhanced PC version. It looks alot better with high res graphics but it sucks playing with a mouse and keyboard. Going on the shelf for now.

Final Fantasy VI(GBA) - Play this at work to pass time when there's nothing to do. This port wasn't done nearly as good as they did with V. Still, it's the BEST FF game in the series.

Up next:

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess(Wii) - I'm going to play this eventually.

God of War 1 & 2(PS2) - At some point I want to play these games. Played a little bit of 1 at my Brother's house and loved it.

Neverwinter Nights 2(PC) - I've been impressed with the effort the devs at Obsidian have put in to patch this game and fix a lot of the bugs that plagued the initial release.

Lair(PS3) - Looking forward to this one.....whenever it releases.

Does it support playing with the controller? If so you could hook up your Xbox360 controller to your PC and use that. I do that with all my games that play better with console controls.
