It seems EVERYONE on Cheapassgamer got double of whatever they ordered. I guess Nintendo is just playing it safe.

Well, since I only ordered 1, I hope I get at least 2. I did manage to have a controller fly out of my grasp, but the strap held, so I didn't have a controller stuck in my friend's drywall after a swing while playing tennis. I was shocked when the controller slipped out of my hand because we have been playing 3 hours/night (or more) and I never thought I'd have a controller slip out of my hand, but sometimes you react to what's happening on the screen and over-extend a swing and get a little confused, and whoosh, there goes the controller...
One of the newbies was playing boxing and he actually lost control of both the wiimote and the nunchuk as the pair flew across the room during a swing barrage of punches. It was funny as hell, but we were grateful the walls didn't sustain damage.

I got another pack of two straps in the mail today (only order 2, and got them yesterday).
Weird. Oh well, guess I have some extras now if one breaks or if I get a 3rd or 4th Wiimote that happens to have the old thin straps.

I got mine today. Funny thing is that the original straps would probably be sufficient for me and anyone I'd having playing a game with me. I'd theorize that anyone who was knowledgable enough to get the replacements are in a similar boat.
