if someone add you does Wii tell you (over mail) or do you have to know they added you and add them also. I have seen some say they have added me but have not been told in my message board area on wii

I've added everybody up to 12/29/06, and now my address book is full. I've still got quite a few grays in mine, and I'll list those later when I turn my Wii back on.

unfortunately, it doesn't let you know if someone's added you.. you just need to add each other.

wish they had more of a request/accept system like myspace..

No, keep Travel on, as well as set your Mii's to mingle. The parade is where the traveling Mii's will travel. They will pop in randomly from your Wii Friends list. They are Mii's that haven't been sent to you.
