Thanks jerks. Played some CoD3 and then when we all decided to switch over to GoW, I was the lone one out. That didn't seem fair.

We could never get that going on CoD2, so I doubt that we could w/ GoW.

Well luckily with Gears you can always send someone a message and see if they would be up for co-op. I was playing some multiplayer Gears tonight and would have been happy to bounce over to co-op if someone was left out. I'm still in act one on hardcore and could always use the help.

From the top of my head, here's a few Gears players that didn't play COD2 with "the group":
Suprmallet
SteelgearX
MasterofDVD
Vryce
Michael Corvin
pizzamousechips
And I'm sure there are even more than that.
xmiyux, I'll help you out in co-op if you'd like.

I'm always down for co-op especially over multiplayer. Anyone can mark me down for some of that is free to invite me.
I've gone through ACT I and half of ACT II on hardcore on co-op, and I'm in the middle of ACT III on casual right now. It is going to take a lot of play to get those Dom achievements so anyone that wants help on getting those, I'm down for it.

What it comes down to is it's a TOTALLY DIFFERENT game... Not even close to COD2.. They didn't make COD3 BETTER then COD2 they made it totally different. So you see a whole bunch of people that didn't play 2 now playing 3 because it's their type of game now.xmiyux whines about everything in every game so you're gonna have that

Also, I totally agree with Doc West in that there is a TON more camping in 3 then in 2 do to the killcam being gone and the maps being huge. I know the few times I played (and it was most likely CTF or the like
) that every time I got killed it was by a sniper..

I think we split from COD3 and formed two rooms. I got an invite from Jalth and joined his room then I got an invite from you. I wasn't paying attention after a few minutes but then alex said hey did you guys send invites to the other guys and I was like hmm I thought they were already in here :S anyhow then we got Prime and I think west in the room and it was full. Later though we ended up splitting into two rooms again as Tbird had just gotten the game and wanted to play some multiplayer but our room was full so we then split into two smaller rooms again.

yea, i got that not too long ago as well (battlefront 2). The big problem is that they released more maps that cost money, and everyone but me seems to have them already. I can't justify spending the 6 bucks to get the extra maps, so i really don't play it much.

I dont know what it is, but online GOW can get a little tiring after a while--NOT BORING but a little exhausting. Can it be considered repetitive without being boring? Anyway it seems that every match is an exercise in deploying the same tactic of circling your opponent then closing for the kill. After 30 or so matches it can get kind of a chore. Occasionally if it comes down to 1 vs 1 you can snipe each other until one gets a headshot. I do like the game a lot and single player has tons more variety. I just feel like I cant play multiplayer all night like I could other games.

Prime I'm the exact opposite I could easily play the game all night because of my frustration with getting the same tactic down correctly. All too often I find myself in the middle of three enemies who seem to be fighting over which gets to deliver the death blow. It's frustrating as hell and I love it. The only thing that's discouraging is that if you make a mistake you're probably going to pay for it and then you sit in the lobby for minutes sometimes waiting to try again. I think the better we all get at the game the longer the rounds will take to play, and the longer I'll be sitting in the lobby waiting to try again.
But damn the game is addicting.

what kind of matches do you play Ferris
If you opponents' tactics are being repetitive, you would know where they are headed, what weapons they favor, and you game plan should change accordingly. I can't say that happens in out matches at all.
If I know a team is going straight for the sniper rifle, thats the move our entire team makes.
I play this game like a chess match really.
