For those of you who preordered Castlevania, have you received your preorder bonus yet? I put a few bucks down the other week strictly so I could get the bonus and now I'm hearing that most stores have them instock. I don't know if my store will be handing them out already or if they'll wait until next week, but I'll give it a shot tomorrow when I'm at the mall.

Which means you got, $10 for NSMB? That is a deal? Or is FF more than the standard $35?

I bought NSMB for $22.50 used (no case and with a 20% discount), and got $16.50 for the trade-in, so I basically paid $6 vor a two month rental. I would have sold it on the forums here, but most folks are uptight when there isn't a case.

... and yeah, FFIII is $39.99.

$39.99 - $16.50 = $23.49 + tax = $25.40 = Not Bad!

$16.50 is pretty good. I only paid $18, so maybe I should check into that. Was it EB? Recently?

It was yesterday and it was EB. It was worth $15.00, but with my Gamer's Edge card they gave me an extra 10% ($1.50). I had unlocked everything in the NSMB game but the last wallpaper and had gotten bored with trying to get every star coin.

Might want to try Gamecrazy or Gamerush, they might not be selling FFIII for $5 above MSRP like EB/GS and probably offer about the same for NSMB.

MSRP for FFIII at Wal*Mart was $39.99 so I went over to EB and did the trade and the buy for it.

nope...

at least one Gamestop here in OKC has the bonuses in. I picked it up yesterday (Friday) morning. Haven't opened it up yet, but it is much smaller than I thought it would be. It is about the size of 2 dvd cases, black package with red seal. Factory sealed in plastic.

No gamecrazy or gamerush near here. No interest in FF either, so no biggie. Looks like I can still get $20+ on half.com.

Maybe I should stop by there more often... really haven't been there since they thought I was a theif. Might be time to forgive them completely.

I stayed away for months, but they have turned over most everyone including the awful manager and seem to be a much nicer store now. I'm giving their mail DVD rental thing a shot and go in to return my mailer movies since you get a free in store rental for doing it.

Also, Wal-mart has some kind of exclusive Final Fantasy DS case free with the game.

nah, i wound up getting 3 of those castlevania pre-orders on Saturday, and got all the special edition stuff THAT day.

The DS game case is AMAZING, not to mention the cool stylus. I wasn't too keen on the art book, until I opened it and checked it out. It brought back tons of nostalgic memories.

The manager even gave me the pre-order for Metal Gear (PSP), which was basically armor plating for my PSP

I checked ebay, and the game w/special edition bonus is going for 80+. I may have to sell off 2 of my copies, and keep one already

i was thoroughly impressed with the pre-order that I felt the need to pick up 3, regardless of what I would do with the extra 2.

I beat every side-scrolling castlevania, except the 2nd one for nintendo, so im not new to this series by a long shot.

Some sweet DS deals at Amazon, courtesy of CAG:

CoM $14.99

Magical Starsign $14.99

EBA $24.99

Castlevania: PoR $29.99

FFV GBA $24.99

I got CoM and MS. Basically B1G1 free at those prices.

Crap! I think I just threw away my TRU receipt for Magical Starsign. I need to check that when I get home.

The Castlevania preorder bonus is one of the greatest ever. Loved the art book and the music CD. I will definitely use the stylus and case daily.

I also ordered CoM from Amazon. Excellent deal.

I'm not. The DS is the hottest system. It has been topping the game sales charts all year, especially in Japan, and hardware sales have been stellar since the Lite launched in June.
