Wow. I'm not sure I like limiting the types of guns you can use. That's part of the fun in CoD2. Picking up other people's weapons for certain situations. Like, say I'm a sniper and then I pick up a small machine gun for close quarters combat. Hmmm...

Does it state you CANT do this? I dont see why they wouldnt allow some flexibility with weapons in the multiplayer host menu.

I guess it all revolves around my hatred for class systems. I just want to pick weapons that I know will work on certain levels. Now classes can only use certain types of grenades/mines too. That doesn't seem too fun either. Oh well, I'll probably love it once I play it.

I will agree with you that if you can't pick up weapons that will be teh suck.

I guess that means Martin will be going Anti-Armor to deal with the snipers. :lol:

I do indeed. Sniping and artillery strikes will be tough to fight against shottie and healing people when i pick a character class.

Will COD3 support 16 via Lan? I see that you can do 4-player split, so now I'm intrigued. I have lan parties on occasion and Halo 2 has worn thin this year. No one else has stepped up to the plate yet. It would be nice to see it happen.

I know GoW does 2P split + lan, but that just means more tvs and systems and copies of the game.

Nope, they do no such thing. See they are a game store so if you really want t the game on launch day you need to pre-order it in advance with them. As a matter of fact, you are lucky they will even deign to sell you the game!
