Well the pic I posted is a "glitch" shot. The curtain is actually drawn, but when you position Sam just right, it disappears. If I move the mic up towards the people the curtain reappears.

If the curtain is drawn already and you didn't complete the recording, then you got there too late.

Yep. Figured that out. I started over last night and sure enough you have to do it before the curtain is drawn. I thought for sure they would see me hanging there. Oh well. Thanks guys.

I am at the email decryption piece now, and can't really figure it out. I think that I have the four sides done, but I don't know how to get to the top and bottom. I can't rotate. I think that I have the four sides done properly (nothing is in red), but how do I get to the top and bottom?

D'oh! Got it. It's the triggers. The instructions say use the bumpers to rotate, but nothing about the triggers.

IGN posted a new head-to-head article comparing the different Double Agent versions. Unfortunately, you need to be an IGN Insider subscriber to read it, which I'm not.

The final two lines of their head to head:

Fans take note: graphics asside the Xbox version of Splinter Cell Double Agent is the superior game.

I rented the 360 version without reading anything about it. Now I wish I rented the xbox version after hearing about the improved story and gameplay. So is the Xbox version in widescreen and at least 480p?

Chaos Theory is 16:9 480p. Double Agent uses the same graphic engine, so I assume it would be as well. I am not 100% sure about that though.

The grid on the back cover of my copy of Chaos Theory does not indicate that it is enhanced at 480p.

That's the problem with those special features listed on the back of x box games, a lot of them have been wrong on several games.

Re: SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGENT: Collector's Edition

After loving CONVICTION, I decided to try this one. Fuck it's a frustrating game, This is why I hate these complicated Stealth games. I'm on level 4, I'll try to finish it.

Re: SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGENT: Collector's Edition

Going from Conviction to Double Agent is a definite downgrade.

I did finish Double Agent, though. I agree, it was frustrating as hell at some points, but see it through, and you'll be happy you did. The stealth sequences at the HQ sucked big time, but at the same time were some of the best parts of the game.

Re: SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGENT: Collector's Edition

Yeah it sucks that I have to keep restarting from checkpoint. I do a part of mission then forget to save then fuck I get caught in the HQ. I'm not really progressing at all. ... I WILL NOT GIVE UP!

Also if AGENT was dumbed down from previous XBOX ones, shit I would hate to even try to play those. That's the only reason I played CONVICTION, I noticed that they simplified it, so it was my first ever SPLINTER CELL experience.

Re: SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGENT: Collector's Edition

Passed it yesterday on Normal, fucker was frustrating, but I made it. Got all the story achievements [other than the hardest difficulty), I just need to play the challenges to get the rest of them.

Re: SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGENT: Collector's Edition

Yes, it was a step down from the previous three, but Double Agent was so much better than Conviction. Conviction was a piece of crap action game with the Splinter Cell name slapped on it.

Okay, put down the controller, and slowly back away.
